ohnotherobot
I can sympathize with any band that gets gear ripped off while on the road, but you might want to post a few more details - this reeks of sketch.

thedavidescapeplan
That really fucking sucks. Such a great band and dudes. Will be donating.
porchlight
Yes, it's a scam to get free money. You caught them!
circlingvultures
I have never heard of this band and after reading that post it doesn't really move me to donate money to help them out. Not that I wouldn't because I think it's terrible that this happens as often as it does. A newer poster, posting a vague thread with little to no information, doesn't really tug at the heart strings you know? How about a link to your bands page, a list of what was taken and maybe even the city where this all took place? I think most people here would like to help out in a situation like this but please put at least a little effort into your request.
j4m35
myspace http://www.myspace.com/ihategrownups their facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/pages/Grown-Ups/156375825700 bandcamp page, with full length http://grownups.bandcamp.com/album/more-songs every song is awesome, but i recommend "three day weekend" "weed science" and "are you kitten me" the most benefit show page http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/event.php?eid=161514397222214&index=
fourfourtwo
The bass that they were using is my friend Tom's (the drummer in Coping). So he's out a bass. Please donate if you can! The dudes that stole their shit also threw their cabs in the woods because they were too heavy to carry from the van, so they may (or may not? Maybe TSR could clarify) be out with those, also.
