minty
If someone buys it, could they possibly upload it for us?
thomas
The MP3 format can not have DRM, however it can store personal information in the metatags (does not matter unless you share it with others). AAC/WMA can have DRM protection.
burntwolf
yea, the amazon store is DRM-free from what I gather... If someone buys it, could they possibly upload it for us? that would be sweet

goraiders
It's number ten in Amazon mp3 downloads, thats pretty crazy.
minty
yeah, who cares about supporting the label. The majority of us already pre-ordered it on vinyl.

counterfiction
so you're just automatically entitled to stealing another copy of it then? or allowing others to download it? i understand the desire for a digital copy but I think that we should actually support an independent label. minty
so you're just automatically entitled to stealing another copy of it then? Wow, what's your problem? I've bought 2 copies of it on vinyl, I just want to listen to it on my computer.
randysxe
sabot has the cd for $6.00...i bet they could use another $6.00 of support...i bought both vinyl and cd

Guest baseball
I'm with Minty here, why should you have to pay for the same songs twice just because the format is different? Hopefully Sabot puts this up on emusic soon.
minty
Wow, what's your problem? I've bought 2 copies of it on vinyl, I just want to listen to it on my computer. then you should have bought one copy of the vinyl and one copy of the mp3 or cd! But I don't want to pay again for some MP3's. I didn't have to buy 2 copies of the vinyl, but I wanted to. I don't see anything wrong with downloading something that I have already bought twice. It's not as if Sabot is missing out.
counterfiction
well, then wait for the 7"s and record them to your computer.
minty
well, then wait for the 7"s and record them to your computer. Tell me how exactly that differs from me downloading the MP3's from someone? I still end up with the songs on my computer.
counterfiction
It's not so much the downloading by someone who already owns the 7", it's moreso about the other people who will be downloading it without purchase.
kyle
well, then wait for the 7"s and record them to your computer. where exactly is the difference?
Guest nickman
because the money isn't going to the label. are you really that dense?
