llamason56
Anyone remember Recover?! I know you Austinites should, but anyway, I saw on their Facebook that they are working on vinyl releases. Doesn't what album but I'll be buying all of them if it happens. Kinda sucks because all of their releases are on different labels and I have a feeling that This May Be the Year I Disappear will be hard to get released since it was through Universal. http://www.facebook.com/RECOVERtx
deafmx
FUCK YES, and This May Be The Year I Disappear better be first pressed

mattisr1984
i saw them open for poison the well and glassjaw once. one of the guys in the band rode in someones car real slow right next to the line of people waiting to get in asking "anybody got any weed?" repeatedly. twentytwo
I hope this is the order of pressing. I love Ceci n'est pas recover the most. It is such a good EP. All their records are good but I have favorites. Ceci n'est pas recover Rodeo and Picasso This May Be the Year I Disappear.
llamason56
Challenger finally got release in January & it's pretty good. Same tracks as it was back in 03 or 04 but finally mixed & mastered. I think that might see the light of day on vinyl first
larsensteiner
FUCK YES This comes totally unexpected, I thought I'd never see these on vinyl.... Stoked!
deafmx
same. I didn't know they did an official Challenger release either. score. I miss Recover, awesome damn band. I barely listened to the Challenger download because it sounds so shitty mp3 quality wise.
astrangerwithcandy
Gah finally, I'm not going to be picky I'll take whatever I can get. I love this band.
suchashorttime
dan keyes has been tweeting about various records on vinyl for a while. i'd be stoked to actually see this happen, but i have a feeling it's going to be a bit of a wait. i do know that keyes tweeted once that the challenger LP will be out on jackie darling, the same label that the cd / digital version came out on. i'd put money on jackie darling putting out the others too. astrangerwithcandy
This is great news. Guilty pleasure. I'm not sure Recover would count as a guilty pleasure seeing as I can't find any reason to feel guilty for listening to them.
deafmx
shit, i wish they were all out on vinyl right now so i could blare that shit. i love Recover. loved TMBTYID sooo much. i saw them with The Get Up Kids/Rocky Votolato, but had to miss them standing outside the Glassjaw/Poison The Well show because i wasn't on the list. had to end up paying and getting reimbursed. still bitter about that. turbobrando
Fuckin' A. I remember the first time I saw them is when they opened for Thursday and then when they opened for Armor for Sleep when I was still in high school. TMBTYID is a great album and Rodeo & Picasso was the first one I bought. I'm pretty sure I actually have a shirt in a drawer somewhere. Will definitely buy anything that comes out
