We also have a nice discussion about trends in punk rock and gender politics in underground music, including his views on Odd Future as a feminist hip hop fan. It's a good read. konk Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 I never was a big hip hop fan, so I guess I'm not the best judge, but I am not really feeling Tyler, The Creator. The non verbal sounds are too lo-fi I guess and a lot of the lyrics don't really rhyme. On Goblin, I like the first 2 songs and maybe number 7. I think I like the second song because the "music" is louder. I also think his voice is too relaxed. I like when he gets mad, but that doesn't happen enough.
