Any good record stores in Ocean City, MD

Alright, I asked this same question a few days ago regarding record shops in Rehoboth Beach, DE but the plan has changed. That placed seemed lame anyway. We're now going to Ocean City, MD for the weekend?

So again, same question are there any good record stores in Ocean City, MD?

There really aren't, there's nothing in the way of music or shows there. A place used to sell some sweet shirts but now they sell metalcore shirts.

Yeah man, thanks for being a jerk, we all know how much we need more smart asses on the internet.

And of course I googled places first but many record stores don't have websites for obvious reasons. If there is info. online it is often outdated and the places aren't even there any more. That's why I asked. Also, I went through all 6 pages of the local record store thread before asking. So it wasn't like I didn't do any research on it before posting.

If you didn't want to help you could have just skipped over the thread.

yeah, i love OCMD and have been going there yearly since i was barely old enough to walk, but there's pretty much nothing in the way of venues or record stores.

someone needs to start one.

Used to be one I think. I gpsd it on Saturday and it was non existent. And There also used to be one on first street years ago. I was just there sat. Looking for some.

There used to be (or still is?) this place called Chat St that was basically a huge Hot Topic before Hot Topic existed. They sold tons of band shirts and skateboard and weird apparel. But they also for some reason sold real (not CD-R) bootleg concert CD's. I bought a few Nirvana ones for like $25 each back in probably 1997 or so.

But back to the topic at hand, sadly, the answer is no. People don't go down there to buy records!

I was lookin for some last week when I went down, no luck. couldn't even find a music store besides the walmart just outside of ocean city near the outlets.

I used to go to OC all the time when I was growing up, I remember buying t-shirts at a place too but it sounds like they have metalcore shirts now which sucks. They used to have a giant board of stickers too.

used to be fishnet, but i have only known of it and never went. aside from that OC is a bust for anything music related unless you LOVE acoustic people playing on the beach.

BAD BRAINS are playing the skatepark in OC this summer i think. that should be pretty cool.

get a wrapper for me.
