starsfanmorrow
What the fuck happened to Turco last night? Same thing that always happens to him in the playoffs. Turco has been solid this series and last year against Vancouver, he played well enough to win last night, the only soft goal was the one he gave up to Perry. Goon hockey and crease crashing is alive and well in Anaheim right now. P.S.- FUCK YOU TODD BERTUZZI

You cant argue with Turco's numbers that he hasnt been solid the last 2 series. If you watched the last 2 games, u can tell they are trying to run Turco to get him off his game, selanne punched him in the head the other night and I just all around hate Todd Bertuzzi. And yes Anaheim is a dirty, physical team, the most penalized in the league.

sherlock
What a win by Boston last night! yes, yes it was. but rangers ftw! i wonder who they're gonna have to play next.
andrew13
flames forced game 7, while the stars and wings punched their tickets. only series still going are crapitals/cryers, habs/bruins, and sharks/flames. secretly, i'm pulling for crapitals and habs. that way, the pens get the craps next round, who they have owned for a while now. kirbypuckett
I'll be so stoked if we get the Capitals. I'm pretty sure it's in the rule book that they can't win against us in the playoffs. I'd like to play the Bruins too, but then again, they're worrying me. Montreal isn't playing up to par, but Boston could surprise us too. Regardless, I don't think there's a team in the East that can shake the Pens. The West is looking pitiful too. The Ducks are gone, San Jose has come back to reality, and Detroit hasn't impressed me much (solid game yesterday though). The Stars seem to have found their stride though. 311thrice
Stars on to round 2 baby!! I was at work when they were playing, so I could only watch like 30 seconds at a time. I was getting a little worried after the second period. Robidas came through though. Amazing. Now who will we face...the Sharks, or the Avalanche. sgoodcore
Ding Dong the Ducks are dead, the wicked Ducks! Ahh, I breathe a sigh of relief.
bruins4ever
What a win by Boston last night! Easily the best game of hockey I've ever watched. Just thrilling and incredible and intense. Go Bruins!! God damn I love this team. Let's knock out these pesky Habs and go on to face the well-rested Penguins. BRUINS!
murakami
that game was unreal. as a pens fan, i would be worried if boston wins tonight and can carry on that same intensity next round - but i think this series could be pretty draining on the B's. this is the only reason i curse the west coast - having to take vacation days to watch key hockey games! ronniethebear
Yeah, the Stars finally turned on the offensive pressure a bit yesterday, but I'd like to see them press even harder against whomever they get matched up with next round. sgoodcore
The Stars would probably still need Zubov back to make an honest run but with a hot goalie, you never know.
ronniethebear
Yeah, I was going to mention needing Zubov, but it doesn't seem like there's any indication of when he will be back, if at all this season. Although teams to tend to be pretty secretive about that sort of thing during the playoffs, for mind game purposes.
sgoodcore
I would imagine he'll just show-up one night if he's coming back. Though Robidas has been outstanding and so has Richards. Need more scoring from Lehtinen too. Stars have the tools and the goalie and it looks like they have the head after watching the Ducks series. I'm taking them far more seriously. But hell Calgary looks mighty tough too.
