All I've ever read/seen is that AP.net wants to be the sticker on your next Victory Records CD that says, "The band that's here to save music". They don't care if it's true, they just want to be huge in the industry. That said...I probably haven't been to the site in over a year. For FF I just left it as their google page because it loads really quick anyway, and generally the first thing I open the internet for is to find something I don't have a link to, then I get sidetracked and end up places like this.
