donlombardo
I've got an irritating high pitched noise on both Against Me! - Eternal Cowboy and TLA - greatest story. has anybody else ever noticed this? it's pretty annoying. Is it common to Fat wreck Lps? are they badly manufactured?

dustin415
That's weird. I have both and have never noticed any odd sounds. In fact, i listened to Greatest Story just a week or so ago, and no issues.
harryq
my old crappy record player gets stuck in a groove on the Greatest Story during the laughing between two tracks on the b-side... it took me 45 seconds to realize something was wrong

moonbeams
I there printed type in the matrix? That means they were pressed At GZ. Sometimes their records can be a bit noisy. I have some recent Fat releases that were pressed at GZ.
donlombardo
Yeah, it's through the whole thing. A high pitched noise, like a squeeking sound. and it's not the player, cause it's not on any other records. and it's been there since the beginning. Rare 1/1's. thinking of getting replacements, it's not like they're expensive or anything. gonna look up that GZ thing, thanks.

donlombardo
Is there something I can do about it, so I don't have to buy new copies?
