mattdbailey
Does anybody know if there's a way to get a single one-of-a-kind 7" pressed and the costs involved if possible?
plasma36
Lathe-cut is the way to go. Single Piece Slate will do one for (I think) only $5.

000000
there's been a lot of issues with lathe-cut companies lately. Single Piece Slate stole $5 from me (and more money from many others) and went out of business, Poly-Cut was supposed to be good but there's been a big debate on whether the owner is actually having "health problems" or is just disappearing off the face of the Earth with people's money... anyone else knows any that are still running? kidamnesiac
Uh this is awesome. If poly-cut wasn't being shady I would totally get a few copies of my old band's demo cut.

billya
I hope that someone can find a place that does them. This thread has made me come up with so many ideas.
necronomidom
A friend just had some lathe-cuts done by Corporate Records. There were many problems when they arrived but apparently the guy is rectifying the problem. I was of the opinion that Peter King was the only sure bet. I called him up and had a very pleasant conversation with him and was ready to bite; however, I spoke with a friend who told me about problems he had with his records when they arrived and Peter's unwillingness to resolve the issue. andydrums
My parents actually ordered a 10" of my old band's stuff yesterday from Curved, for my birthday. I'll let you guys know how it turns out. If it turns out great, I'll be ordering another 10" and 2 12"s of the rest of my bands' stuff. plasma36
I was afraid that Single Piece had stopped, that sucks. I guess a good question is what places will do this within the US so I don't have to pay for overseas shipping?

mattdbailey
Yeah I don't wanna pay any overseas shipping costs. The idea was to put one of my songs on side A, then on side B a voice recording asking my best friend to prom.
