At The Drive-In reissues

Recommended Posts

I imagine Dine Alone are just handling the digital distribution in Canada. Would be very surprised if it included vinyl or CD (pleasantly surprised, mind you).

Cedric has also stated that Fearless was releasing Vaya as their last and only ATDI reissue before all rights to the catalogue finally revert back to the band.

My personal favorite is Arcarsenal:

They're just great, influential post-hardcore that recently reunited after years and years of "we'll never reunite." So people are excited.

The fact that you answered this without being a dick made me smile, and I'm not being a dick when I'm saying that.

Watch the video of them doing One Armed Scissor on Letterman. It may not sound great, but their stage presence is out of this world.

I 2nd the in/casino/orGTFO!

This too!

canNOT wait to have this baby all re-mastered. They're smart dudes, so I can only imagine it's going to sound swell.

Until Omar feels that the drummer wasn't REALLY part of the group anymore at the time of this recording and drops him down to near absence in the mix and then mutes all of Jim's guitars and layers ring modulator's and flangers heavily on top of all the vocals and tweaks the highs and high mids +1100db on his own guitars, boots them up to the front of the mix and calls it a day.

what is these guys popular for? ive been hearing about them a lot? best song?

....must....be.....troll..... ergh!

I am actually really, really worried he will do something like this with RoC seeing as how he's talked about hating the released mix of RoC. I could see him doing it with any of their releases though, sadly.

I honestly understand his gripe with the overall mix and as long as he's cool about it he could actually really help it. It is incredibly stiff and doesn't really suit the band's style that well but of course, that is the mix that I know and I would be just as happy having the LP with that mix as I would having an even better mix but I would not be cool having a ridiculous Amputechture'd mix. I think he COULD make it better. He has it in him but I don't know that he won't mess it up.

Whoa! Relax. All signs pointed toward troll between the name, the post count and the question. I get that not everybody has heard of At The Drive In but I don't know what UPTHE PUNX means. Either way, if you're legit, then let me suggest "Napoleon Solo" from In/Casino/Out and "Sleepwalk Capsules" from Relationship of Command.

I thought you were referencing Amputechture with your post and I'm still pissed about what he did with that.

With RoC he said something about he liked the pre-mix version better. So hopefully if they did release a different version it would just mean he'd want to release a cleaned up version of the pre-mix rather than him fucking around and jerking himself off like with Amp.

Exactly. As long as he chills out on all that, I think we'll be in for a treat.
