midnightcity
i can dig that, I mean, I can't fuckin stand Rush or The Beatles. there will always be bands you like and bands you dont. but if you like what you heard with the Stones - there is SOOOOOO much shit there. Guest
i've always been kind of anti-stones. i just don't believe they deserve any comparison to the beatles whatsoever, and i can't imagine the landscape of music today being any different without them ever forming. i do like a few songs that i've heard here and there, and i've listened to a couple albums... but nothing's changed my mind about that. adammuzzy
seriously how the fuck did the stones only get two songs? that's a goddamn outrage, when fuckin bon jovi got 4 or 5. at least they gave the who some time... anyone else been seeing internet rumors that zeppelin might play this? Guest
how do they still have the stage? and enlighten me. what did the rolling stones do beyond making rock & roll music of its time?
hudsoncomplex
This Who set is awesome. Daltry needs to do his shirt up, though. His stomach and chest look like a leathery old shoe thedillon and seangj
bathroommonkey
seems like the stones made their set short by their own means. i use to think only the beatles mattered. then i started giving the stones some time. the stones rule hard. Without them, rock could have conceivably continued as the kind of hippie flower power music the Beatles were putting out. Which is fine, positivity needs to be out there, but the Stones changed the game. That said, the Stones needed the Beatles to disband to fill in the void left behind. Credit, where credit is due, is my point.
