jared
Well looks like this band is at it again. Präparat is vinyl only and goes on sale March 6th. The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked - Chronicle is a box set of the three lp's that were originally put out by Kult Of Nihilow and Conspiracy and that goes on sale March 20th I have no idea what the Vein release will be, but that will be released on April 10th
Guest
I need to start getting Boris albums. I will probably buy this one first and go from there.

magnumtaurus
Maybe the Vein release is a 2LP of both versions?
kk-downing
These guys made me a lot of cash in the past, I can always appreciate that.

jared
Maybe the Vein release is a 2LP of both versions? Yeah, that's something that I was thinking might happen. Or maybe it's just a whole other release. Or myabe they'll expand on the Vein track they put on the Southern Lord version of smile
Guest
You're in for an expensive venture. Definitely. I probably won't go too crazy. I have a ton of other things on my list of stuff to buy.
habbazoot
Source? really intrigued on all of this, especially the Vein one (hard the hardcore version for the first time 3 days ago)
Guest
Didn't they just put out a split/collab 12" recently?
jared
^ Yeah, they did. With joe volk. They're songs are pretty good on it. More of an older boris type of sound. Also - here is their twitter where they retweeted the original Daymare tweets: https://twitter.com/Borisheavyrocks
wasteland76
They had a split 7 inch for Black Friday RSD I believe. Yet another item I just had to get. Buying Boris is a damn expensive deal

azvd
I never quite understood what made me buy their records except for the Altar collaboration. Fact is that I bought a few and that put me on the game of supporting every new release. Now when I get back to their records and put them on rotation, it's not that I really needed them in my collection. If it's coming out on Daymare, expect something really expensive, since it will be manufactured and shipped form Japan. And yes, if we're talking about Solomon and Vein reissued/compiled, it's superior music than their latest releases. scottyrobotty
mattisr1984
interested in the represses - depending on the price(s). also wish they would do flood. i am highly suspect of new boris material though. attention please and new album were definitely not what i want to hear from this band. habbazoot
I actually really liked Attention Please for some reason. To me it was really......R&B? I don't know but I thought it was cool. Heavy Rocks was alright, but not nearly as good as the original. I didn't even think about the whole import-from-Japan thing. Shit. I should get a job before thinking about these... mattisr1984
this!! heavy rocks was a quality release at least heavy rocks #2 was pretty good - ill give you that (but seriously, how in the hell is the original heavy rocks not on vinyl?). jared
Yeah, it makes me wonder if we'll ever see a release for flood or heavy rocks. When I heard they were playing flood in its entirety in Japan last year I was really hoping that meant someone was finally doing a vinyl release for it. celebdeath
looks like praparat is going to be a 'drone' record; ie. lower-case 'boris'. Segment of the google translation of the Praparat release on diskunion: Lowercase name of a long time to be the first time in seven years since the announcement "dronevil-final-", decorate the early 2013, the release of three consecutive Guaranteed! Hope that Vein release will be a 2LP of both initial Vein releases. That'd be very cool. Inoxia Records should have Praparat. Sometimes they work with Conspiracy Records when Inoxia does boris records. Bookmark these: http://www.inoxia-rec.com/e/index.html http://www.daymarerecordings.com/top.htm conspiracyrecords.com/ for those that can read japanese and have a japanese postal address, you can preorder it now: http://diskunion.net/punk/ct/detail/PNK1301-084 however, diskunion doesn't ship outside of Japan, so we have to wait till Inoxia gets them. markok
Been waiting for Akuma No Uta and Heavy Rocks reissues for a while now, and even Pink. Havent lost hope yet
habbazoot
Pink has been pressed three times, I think. So I don't think you're gonna have much luck on that one. I'd kill for an Akuma No Uta reissue though
davepriz
Akuma no uta will definitely come one day. I have no doubt about that.
