fuckoffleatherjacket
I was just wondering how damaged is damaged enough to send a record back. Only if the record is warped enough to distort playback? Do we just accept shipping damage as buyer's risk? I feel kinda shitty complaining to a record label about teared outer sleeves and really bent corners. So i'm just curious about when other's will complain or send them back
donttchange
It's up to you, the buyer, to decide. If you're not satisfied, then by all means, send it back. But, if it's something that doesn't really bother you then whats the point.

icecream
I only return it if the record is warped. seam splits, dents, dinged corners are just the pitfalls of the shipping process It irritates the shit out of me when ebay people get all finicky about minimal stuff like that

museummouth
My only experience with this was on ebay where the buyer listed the record as new, near mint and when I received it there was a huge seam split. Like 3 inches long...

daegor
Was the way it was shipped reasonable given what you paid for shipping? If yes, then suck it up. If no, then complain.
fuckoffleatherjacket
They were records that are easily available from most record stores, I just wanted to support the record label directly so i'll complain in the nicest way possible and hope for the best daegor
derby625
I once had a record sleeve get water damaged in transit. I had ordered through the label and contacted them about getting a new jacket. They sent me a brand new copy for free which was awesome. Contact the label and ask for a new jacket. They may have extras
mmhmm
Torn is the past tense of the verb , teared is an appropriate adjective for something that was torn Actually, "tore" or "torn" can be past tense forms of "tear." "Teared" is never used as an adjective. The only time I can think of when "teared" is grammatically correct is in reference to shedding tears. As in: "fuckoffleatherjacket teared up at the thought of having his grammar corrected on a vinyl message board."
