mods are here to lock and move threads to where they belong.

 

admins show up once a month to post stupid ass news stories, that, if anyone gave a fuck about, would be posted already by the members.

The community runs itself? Brilliant. 

 

If a StackOverflow approach was instated, things would clean up nicely. 

VinylCollective has a somewhat voting system implemented for reputation. Expansion would clear things up.

from the modCP, mods can edit/merge/delete topics and posts, as well as access a deleted topic/post log and resurrect them if need be. they can also access reported posts/material/users and unnapproved content, and handle them accordingly. they can also manage members and have an IP address toolbar. thats pretty much it.

 

admins have full access to pretty much any setting through the adminCP, obviously.

I was just inquisitive as to how this site was specifically managed. Thank you for clearing things up.
