Shelby
will this be like the third pressing for the glow pt. 2? hopefully they do something unique with these pressings He said in an interview that he wasn't looking to change up the artwork too much, but these pressings will be "more permanent" than the others. Basically they'll be tip on jackets etc, everything high quality. His label does some of the highest quality packaging, I'm excited for these. Time to retire my nice and worn 1st pressings. gravitylovesdrunks
FUCK YES SONG ISLANDS. I was hoping hard that this would get pressed.
Derek™
I'm one of those guys who discovered The Microphones through Mount Eeeie. (The project, not the album.) It's been a slow exploration, but I like what I've heard. Glad to see these getting a proper repress. Also agree that E&S delivers quality product all around, for sure. esbe
FUCK YES SONG ISLANDS. I was hoping hard that this would get pressed. Woah, I totally missed this, just thinking it was Song Islands 2. Very excited to get this as well.
Greystash
Hi, just wanted to ask you for some advice. I have a few Mount Eerie records and really enjoy them. This weekend I want to order two records by The Microphones but I don't know any of their stuff. Which 2 albums should I get? Those are the options: http://www.bisaufsmesser.com/store/shopware.php/sViewport,search/sSearch,microphones
spoon
'The Glow pt. 2' is essential, definitely get that. On top of that I'd say either 'It Was Hot' for something slightly shorter and more digestible or 'Mount Eerie' if you're after something darker and more epic in scope. Shelby
I'd start with Don't Wake Me Up and The Glow Pt 2 before getting the other 3. They're all essential. Greystash
Greystash
Today I received The Glow and It Was Hot...didn't have the time to listen to the records but I will do that tomorrow. P.W.Elverum & Sun are definitely the Kings of Packaging (or is Phil doing that all by himself?). Excellent!
Shelby
Phil is the sole employee unless his wife and friends are helping now.
Greystash
Damn, I have so much surface noise on Side C of my The Glow Pt. 2 copy...everything sounds distorted and noisy. Anyone with the same problem?
