chubbler108
I don't know many people that listen to metal, so lets talk about it here! What metal bands have you been listening to lately? I've been putting it off for awhile, but yesterday I finally picked up Between the Buried and Me - The Parallax II: Future Sequence, and The Chariot - One Wing. I can't stop listening to either of them! Also picked up Hatebreed - The Divinity of Purpose last week and I think it might be their best and heaviest album. What have you guys been listening to? rtw88
Some stuff that springs to mind that I enjoy: Torche, Bongripper, Black Sabbath, Slayer, Metallica, Sleep, 16, Kylesa, and High on Fire. I like tons more, but these are my go to bands when I'm in the mood.
withengineheart
Loose category but whatevs. Metal is whatever you think it is I 'spose. Current spins (a few due to represses, most on a classic get stoked on all that is evil and awesome kick): Carcass- Symphonies Of Sickness Entombed- Left Hand Path Arsis- A Celebration Of Guilt Exodus- Bonded By Blood Cryptopsy- None So Vile (always and forever. I wish Lord Worm was my English teacher) Nasum- Human 2.0 Dark Tranquillity- The Gallery (buy this nao. before it's gone.) Lamb of God- As The Palaces Burn (everyone knows/has heard of these dudes but Jesus H. Fuckin' solid record. Those on the edge, start here.) Pantera- everything ever Gorguts- Obscura Obscura- Cosmogenesis Candlemass- Nightfall Aura Noir- Out To Die (seeing them on Friday, gettin' stoked on the whole beer-blackened-trash thing) Amon Amarth- no album, just Runes To My Memory. FUUUDGE what a riff. idk mang, so much good stuff out there. 'windmill'
