Apparently the singer, Meric Long, restructured his songwriting due to the passing of guitarist Chris Reimer, the third member of the group throughout 2011. Mailorder exclusive will be on 180 gram glacier blue vinyl (out of 700) and ships 8/16. *UPDATE* Only 1/4 of this pressing remains as of 6/26 Retail pressing will be in stores on August 27th. 180g smoke colored vinyl with a gatefold jacket. I never thought Time To Die was bad, by any means, just not as good as Visiter. New single is not nearly as immediate as Black Night. I'll still probably buy this though. Love The Dodos. Might have to break my "only one copy per record" rule. For how much I like this record, both colors sound to match the cover and feel of the album. More so with the smoke.
