He built all of the shelves himself because you're really not going to find these types of things for sale in a whole lot of stores...if at all. For everyone complaining about the price...you have obviously never looked in to custom cabinetry. When you have something made like this it costs an arm and a leg even though it doesn't look like it's made of much. Add in shipping on something large and heavy and you've got a pretty pricey piece of furniture. Anyone ever look at getting Ikea to ship anything? It's fucking retarded. Anyway I don't expect that a lot or any people on this board will actually order anything. I think you'll have much better luck with local sales if that's at all possible.
