Sorry if this was already posted, but I just noticed this on Insound, haven't seen it anywhere else: http://www.insound.com/Dont-Tell-A-Soul-Vinyl-LP-The-Replacements/P/INS126984/

"VINYL FORMAT. Limited edition of 500 copies, pressed on black/clear swirl vinyl! Fans were expecting a record of radio hits, and radio was expecting more punk rock antics with the Replacements’ second major label record, Don’t Tell A Soul, originally released in 1989. Somehow they were both right, and sadly, like many great and creatively expansive albums, this record was overlooked upon its initial release by the dedicated fan and the newcomer. Twenty years later, most fans and critics agree that songs such as “Achin’ to Be,” the haunted “Rock ‘n’ Roll Ghost,” the sweetly self-mythologizing “Talent Show,” and “I’ll Be You,” are probably among the best songs performed in the 1990’s."

This is their third major label record, after Tim and Pleased to Meet Me.

Also it's cool and all that they've reissued all the Sire albums, but could Rhino or whoever owns the rights get to repressing the Twin/Tone albums? I've found original pressings of all the Sire albums (including this one) for under $30 within the last year, and $50+ is too much for Sorry Ma, but I waaaannnntt iiiiiiit

I have the Twin/Tone releases of the first three albums.  But, if Rhino did a deluxe vinyl with all the supplement they put on the CD reissues, I would buy them again without hesitation.

Don't tell a soul is a solid album.  Already have the original but might have to get this swirl thing because I'm stupid.  I would love remaster/represses of the Twin Tone stuff.  One fortunate thing about being older and living in the Twin Cities is that Replacements records were readily available in used bins in the mid-late 90's
