companyinkrecs
In all seriousness, I've noticed a similar issue with a lot of the records I've purchased recently. Not so much a scuff, but definitely something stuck on there. Maybe we are buying from the same plant? It doesn't affect playback either, but it sort of smells mustardy. anyone have suggestions? gabpower, cemeterytapes, Emo Revival and 7 others

Gippej
It's the cheap paper sleeves they come in. They all have them. Every release I've received in a poly lined sleeve has no such problem.
Shelby
Those squarish sleeves that are common with Pirates Press/GZ are the fucking worst and are the cause most of the time. Who thought putting the fold on the inside would be a good idea? Dumb.

Guest
One time my record had a thing on it and it made me cry.
markok
Give this guy a break. I have been buying records for about 9 years now and at this point I mostly do preorders (without knowing whether I like the album at all or not), so the resale value would be the only concern for me here too. flood
i was gonna say the only thing that makes me madder than corner dings is scuffs that don't affect how the records sound.. NO wait i wasn't going to say that, because i go outside, talk to girls and have a fucking life. jesus christ people crawl out of your cave once in awhile and remove the stick from your ass. i remember when this forum was actually fun and not full of trolls and entitled dipshits.
