srcvinyl
We are excited to announce that we will be pressing Beth Orton "Central Reservation" on vinyl for a March 25th release date (hopefully shipping earlier)! We had it mastered for vinyl and lacquers created at Metropolis Studios by Grammy Award Winner Tim Young (The Clash, Queen, The Beach Boys, Beatles). It will be released as a double LP with 500 copies on 180 Gram Red (SRC Exclusive) as well as 180 Gram black vinyl. Pre orders go live this Friday at 1 PM EST: http://www.shopradiocast.com/products/Beth-Orton-%252d-Central-Reservation-2XLP.html NOTE: Due to a timing issue this release is not a part of our 2014 subscription series. It must be purchased separately.

tonyfranciosa
Where can you get an original for less? All copies on Discogs are $60+ and forget about the Classic Records reissue (which I had multiple opportunities to buy and am now kicking myself). ExtraFox
I was waiting for this to come up in a sale, but it appears there's less than 20 left, so that seems unlikely.
Youinreverse
I was waiting for this to come up in a sale, but it appears there's less than 20 left, so that seems unlikely. I was going to do the same. I thought for sure this would end up in the clearance section.

caninesapien
Now we need Comfort of Strangers! Also did anyone see Orton and Nick Cave duet in LA last night. I bet that was incredible.
timsimmons
I love that I dragged my feet on getting this for so long and then got it for almost as cheap a couple months back. Great record. Sweetest Decline is her best song ever.
Youinreverse
$15.99 on red at Soundstage Direct. http://www.soundstagedirect.com/beth-orton-central-reservation-180-gram-red-vinyl-records.shtml Thanks for this. I just picked up an original for pretty cheap a few weeks ago, but it's pretty worn. The jacket is incredibly flimsy and mine is pretty bent up. I'm interested to compare the sound on both of them.
