Maybe it's because that was the first album I got by them. Cherish showed so much promise for ushering in a new wave of 80's style goth. It is a brilliant record. The picture discs and other crap Wes has been releasing since then doesn't even come close. He seems too caught up in being a fashionista and I just wish he'd take Cold Cave to the next level.
