Chris is a cool dude, the album would have come out like a year ago instead of them sitting on it waiting for a new label, and it would have cost $11ppd. I love Side One too and they do great things (and I'm sure this release and packaging will be great), but I just have a special place in my heart for PIX. Exactly this. And because PIX has struggled in the last couple of years because lots of their biggest bands have outgrown them (AJJ, Against Me!, etc), or have broken up. It's just a bummer (although I understand it's natural progression for those bands to move to bigger labels as they get bigger) because I miss when PIX was this thriving community with all these amazing up and coming bands.
