  1. 9 channels. 9 songs? Love the slow reveal. I expect something on channel 2 today hopefully... (Also strings!)
  2. Plus you will actually get to see your order with the new fulfillment provided. I'm just hoping I randomly receive my Fragile Deviations and NTAE LPs one day...
  3. See the photo above. I'm sure the selling of it has been depressed because the MOV pressing, but damn I'll be happy if it's an official Null Corp release with the original plates. But who knows, it may just end up being stock from MOV.
  4. I'm also on the side that would of been more inclined to pick up the orange is the b-side was an actual album track or true b-side. The instrumentation in Everything Now doesn't intrigue me as a separate track. That being said, to each their own but I can see why this doesn't sell fast.
  5. Grabbed Prick, Lost Highway (color; glad I waited out on the MOV pressing), Broken and The Fragile 20% code could only be applied to the first two so will save it as it lasts for a year and I'm not sure what else will be available given the surprises that have shown up. Also, to repeat sub$16 USD 7+LPs shipped to Canada = Canuckle VERY impressed.
  6. Been loving this label recently with Exploded View, Blanck Mass, Moon Duo and Uniform all hitting it out of the park for me. Curious if they had the same quality and sound 10 years ago...
  7. It can be found pretty easily around the web and on torrent sites. Personally, I'd rather not pay more for a DVD that will sit in a sleeve for all eternity.
  8. Don't assume this is AF's doing. Someone probably messed up significantly yesterday and rectified it today. Those who bought yesterday just got lucky.
  9. Grabbed this as I don't want to go through the hassle of finding the 'Night version' up here in Canada. I'm sure it won't be too hard to track down but this gives me peace of mind.
  10. Ya, every now and again their exclusives come out without some form of wrap or are placed in resealable outers. Oddly, my The National turned out spotless from a sleeve perspective. E-mail them and they may be able to help you, but cosmetic issues can be tricky. I got the Spotify singles e-mail that mentioned free shipping if you order before June 3. Thought that was odd given the stance on the forums around members having to pay... Gonna head over there now and hope there isn't a bloodbath.
  11. I thought I was the only one who loved James Murphy's work with them. I love Reflektor and turn to it more often than The Suburbs. Curious to hear what this sounds like, and I would also be way more into this is side B was another song and not an instrumental version.
  12. I'd e-mail info about it, but I'm not sure they will be able to help. I've never heard of a member wanting their orders to go to two separate locations. They explicitly state that updating your shipping info will update it for all orders... Given they outsource their shipping procurement you may be stuck with shipping is back to the US.
  13. It's what non-members or members who are not signed in see. It's normal. And 100% @downisthenewup87 VMP was always going to face an uphill battle for release unique records given the vinyl resurgence, which is why they have moved away from describing their albums as 'essential'. The best albums out there are getting reissued or repressed by the bands and labels themselves. VMP tries to find some of those less known but loved albums to press, so they won't always be everyone's cup of tea (e.g., Panda Bear, Main Source, Nina Simone - still the best three month run from them in terms of small classics and quality, IMO). Not everyone can afford a club to send them albums they may not like, and some don't see the value in paying for albums they may not like; that's completely fine and very understandable. Just don't jump down people's throats who enjoy the curation. If you go to a restaurant and order the prix fixe menu, do you then ask for substitions because they aren't serving your favorite steak? No. You pay for a service to curate something great for you. So far, VMP has done a very admirable job.
  14. Are you month to month? If yes and they charged you, I'd reach out to their support just in case.
  15. I really think the people on the DD waitlist are getting a pretty solid deal, as I have a feeling July's album will be an oldie but a goodie (speculated to be a funk album...).
  16. No one should give you crap for swapping. There are a ton of previous great ROTM that a lot of people would love to fill out their collection with. I don't swap, but I also have 4-5 records from VMP that I'm not sure will ever be spun again. Not sure how proud of that I can be on #teamnoswap
  17. I think they meant they are on a month-to-month sub which means no swaps.
  18. I can definitely see the hesitation to dish our close to $30 on this. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the pressing numbers on this are lower than the past two months. However, this is why I strongly recommend grabbing at least 3+ month subs as it allows you to swap for 24+ other previous ROTM or exclusive pressings. But hey, I know funds can be tight. That being said, Morby is more in line with what this club offers. They put out 3-4 new releases every year and they are often the most polarizing records within the club's (internet) membership BECAUSE they are unheard and for some reason, people feel music curation should only be done for albums people know they like/dislike. But this is nothing new, so anyone who took the time to read up on the club's past ROTM should not be surprised by this.
  19. I'm worried Broken is going to be limited in terms of stock due to production issues and scalability... *fingers crossed* this whole thing is just a storefront issue for now.
  20. I expect The Chills to go on sale eventually as it has been there forever. Eddie Gale all the way if you like it (and don't mind have 1-2 songs a side).
  21. New releases will always get the heavy swap treatment due to availability elsewhere and the 'unknown'. Not surprised to see the reaction around the new ROTM being Morby. I'm sure VMPs package will be pretty awesome, but get why people would swap with a previous ROTM. Especially after the influx of 3-month members from DD. Note you can also find the SWAP link in the actual announcement e-mail today. I'll definitely be giving Morby a chance.
  22. Although Rez agrees... "The last two tracks were leftovers from a 12" that should have been released when we did lollapalooza, but due to record labels.... ...so, i thought they were good enough to be released, but did not fit with 'broken', so, i wanted to give them away but keep them separate from the EP, so, i came up with the 3" CD idea, but, my record label informed me that it cost so much to manufacture that they could not break even EVER regardless of sales, so, i compromised and allowed the first 250,000 to have the 3" CD, and the rest to have them on tracks 98-99 (so nobody would be ripped off)." —Reznor ...I've always found them to fit pretty flawlessly within the EP, especially 'Suck'.
