If you're a fan of Lorde, then you should definitely check out Broods. Their first album sounded a lot like Lorde's debut (they did work with the same producer, so there's that), but they've really come into their own on their newest album. Their newest single "Heartlines" was co-written by Lorde.

Get Hurt and Above the Bridge are the worst songs AFI have released in the past 20 years. I like the rest though.

I've been following this band long enough that the reception really isn't that surprising to me. I feel like AFI has been incredibly polarizing with the last few albums and their attempt to switch it up with each one. I'm a big fan but I'll admit that this album has taken awhile to grow on me. And if it wasn't AFI, then I wouldn't have given it half as much of a chance but I still enjoy it nonetheless. I don't regret my purchase and I'm excited to add it to my collection.

The fact that IMDB has Chew listed in "post-production" is good. That may mean that all the voice work is at least completed. Based on the limited info provided, it looks like they still don't have a distributor. If it doesn't make it to theater, then I could see FXX or Netflix getting the release rights. The new news on Y is good news. It looks promising but honestly, I bet the FX execs are waiting to see how well this new X-men show will perform before sinking money into a different comic based show. On a side note: has anyone watched Outcast on Cinemax? Is it any good/entertaining? I find the comic to be too slow and often boring so I'm wondering how its translating to screen.

Also, last I heard, Y: The Last Man is back in talks to be adapted on FX. For awhile there was a movie being developed with Shia LaBeouf as Yorick. It's been in development hell for nearly 10 years now, so I'll believe it when I see it.

I'm not sure Chew would work outside of the comic medium, but it might be a good cartoon. So many titles get picked up by production companies and nothing yet. Brad Pitt was supposed to be working on a Wytches movie. Tom Hardy is adapting Trees. for TV. Sex Criminals has been in the treatment stage for over a year now. Currently waiting on a producer to discover East of West because that story would make an awesome TV show.

Yeah but how great would a Fatale show be? To be fair, Image currently has quite a few titles that are ready for the screen. They're more than just TWD. These projects never seem to get off the ground though.

Read the first Kill or be Killed trade today. Brubaker and Phillips are so consistent in their quality. Fatale, Fade Out, Criminal... I would love to see something picked up for film or TV.

If anyone is looking for cheap 7" storage to hold a small collection, AC Moore/Michaels sell these wooden boxes for 5x7 photos. They're usually ~$15 or even less on promotion. Just toss the lid and paint the box whatever color you want. I would recommend the AC Moore version as the Michaels version is a bit snug. Also, the AC Moore version can hold 10" records on the long side.

I have a feeling there will be. There's no proof of this, I'm just going of off the fact that HT has done exclusive AFI pressings before. Maybe I'm just hoping there will be. Also, UO has an exclusive color plus the retail variant is red/black marble.

I just finished the pilot. Seems interesting enough. I find it interesting that Netflix has like 100 shows but advertises hardly any. Didn't know it existed prior to today. I also haven't seen any reviews on the show, is it worth the watch?
