  1. Adding on the importCD deal above: Santigold - 99 Cents Generationals - Heza Middle Class Rut - Pick Up Your Head Just bought 7 LPs for $40. Thanks for the heads up.
  2. Every time this comes around I always think it'll be cool to go but then I remember I'm too much of an introvert and hate being in large crowds. Have always been curious about this as well.

  4. Nah, I don't think so. This show is awful. From the writing down to the acting. I personally find it difficult to find any redeeming qualities of it as a whole. It showed promise in the first season but didn't know where to take the plot in the second. What the writers fail to realize is something it already took many seasons for TWD to pick up on: the zombies are just a part of the setting and the real conflict and emotion lay with how the living treat the living. TWD has really kept the momentum up in recent years by introducing "big bads" and such that are mostly no different from the main cast. In FTWD, there doesn't feel like there is any real threat to main crew besides their own naiveté... and, thanks to TWD, we already know how that plays out. In FTWD, the zombies are not a real threat (in fact Nick often walks among them) and the living seem no more threatening or brutal than people are in real life without a zombie apocalypse.
  5. I'd be surprised if FTWD makes it past a 3rd season. I know its been renewed already but I can see AMC dropping it soon. Absolutely terrible show.
  6. At this point this is what I'm expecting. AM! is essentially all her.

  9. I got my copy from RT today. Its just as good as their s/t. Still don't understand the hate for New Song. Sounds even better in context of the whole album.
  10. I went with the retail black just to get a copy. I'll try for the box set if possible. If I get the box set, I'll just sell off the black.
  11. This album sounds nothing like TBS. There's nothing wrong with growth, but this sounds like a completely different band. Especially Adam. It just doesn't sound like him. That said, it's not bad. I might have to actually buy a copy eventually.
  12. Maybe the inside image on the gatefold? They could do a different picture for each variant.
  13. This is one of the only new shows that actually lives up to the hype.

  15. Yeah the reds look cool. They really make the covers pop. It was a toss up for me between HT and B&N. I prefer marble more than smoke variants though.
  16. Label only pic... Neon Gold Records. Nowhere near complete and most likely never will be (considering how much those early Marina & the Diamonds 7" go for). If anyone has the Magic Man - You Are Here 10" you're willing to part with, let me know. I'm willing to pay a decent (not crazy) amount for it. 12": Haerts - Giving Up (single; shaped) The Knocks - Comfortable (EP; dark purple) 10": ASTR - Varsity (EP; white) Cathedrals - S/T (EP; plum) Haim - Forever (EP) Seinabo Sey - For Madeleine (EP; gold) St. Lucia - S/T (EP) Tigertown - Lonely Cities (EP; bright orange) 7": Alex Winston - Careless (single; pink) Dom - Living in America (single; white) Fort Lean - Sunsick (single) Icona Pop - Manners (single) Lovelife - Your New Beloved (single) MØ - Pilgrim (single) The Naked and Famous - Young Blood (single) Penguin Prison - Golden Train (single) St. Lucia - Before the Dive (single) Sir Sly - Ghost (single; white)
  17. Probably sounds grouplove-y since Ryan from Grouplove did produce that album. What's Real is amazing and underrated. Seriously, people. Go buy that album. Waters is incredible live too. On their last tour opening for Matt & Kim, they did a one-off headlining show in my city. Easily the best show I went to last year. They ran out of songs at the end so they played Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus as their encore and absolutely killed it.
  18. Agreed. There are a couple of decent songs, but overall I'm not feeling it. It did make me want to listen to Waters though. In my head they've basically become the better version of Grouplove.
  19. AAI have a repress of Behind the Times up. Shipping scheduled for October 15th. https://atomageindustries.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/afi-behind-the-times-7-single-pre-order-ships-october-15th
  20. It's not a gap, its an ad space. So if you have adblock on, you only see a gap. Beats those ad popups.
  21. I don't have much to contribute to this thread, but thought I'd leave this link here. U-Turn have been posting some pretty good basic info on turntables (with pictures and obvious advertisement).
  22. I guess I picked a good time to get into these guys. I just discovered them this past weekend. Picking up the 2 vinyl bundle, new album and previous album.
