Went with the Rough Trade exclusive. I've liked each single they've released more than the last and this album should be a blast.

I actually own the original 2007 pressing of this that I've always cherished, but I do agree it has surface noise, so snagged this new release and I'll put the original pressing up for sale.

Swapped for Beck. I respect Betty Davis, but just never really have gotten into her brand of Funk.

I'll pre-order anything Beach House, but excited for this one in general. Chariot is an excellent song that feels like it would have stood up well next to Space Song on Depression Cherry.

I really enjoyed this album. Not a song I didn't like and it's easily my favorite Local Natives LP so far. The vinyl release itself is beautiful. Thick packaging and twelve hefty paper pieces of art. It's a really ambitious release and fits well with the deluxe edition of their last album.

Saint Motel kind of came out of nowhere with the hit "My Type" in 2014 and they're looking to continue their upbeat indie pop sound on their sophomore effort, Saintmotelevision. Pre-orders have launched for the album on their webstore. Webstore exclusive and limited to 1000 splatter vinyl is $19.99 (shipping is $7 and I was charged tax). I legitimately thought this was a joke and started bursting out laughing. I...am shocked it's actually real, although that makes it even more funny.

My Amazon copy was teal as well. That being said, disappointed from the album overall. Water is one of my favorite songs of the past year and I was hoping for the whole album to be in a similar vein, but the rest of it is very milquetoast, albeit listenable.

By far the best rapper I've seen live (during the Skelethon tour). Really feeling the new single, too. That vinyl is beautiful, but the shipping is high, so might have to wait for Amazon...
