  1. Good stuff here. I don't think an iphone or bb is necessary for everyday living in the slightest. Granted, I do IT work and have a free BB, but outside of work, i really never touch it. I have a regular phone with no data plan or anything. I just think it has become a huge distraction, we have gotten shit done without an iphone before it came out and I intend to keep it that way. Some people literally can't live without an iphone or bb, i think that is extremely sad. When i need directions I get a rough outline of the streets beforehand and picture it in my head. I've gotten very lost in baltimore a couple times, but just sticking with my bearings it has always turned out allright. Plus the understanding for the next time. I think literally finding your way is actually fun. But this example goes for any 'app' that replaces something in real life. In your case Yu, it may very well be helpful.
  2. im still down with it but i'll be at bonnaroo until monday soo hopefully im back in time, i imagine ill be fine
  3. Woah, how long ago did Lye By Mistake go Instrumental?...I only saw them once, but they were fucking awesome, sounded like Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza meets Between The Buried And Me with a little bit of Dillinger Escape Plan in there yea man, im jealous, i haven't seen them yet. but ya i guess sometime before fea jur was released last year they decided to go it without one. its def got a different vibe from the first record, i really like it.
  4. i got this a few months back on green. everything looks amazing and for 15 bucks all the shit you get is sweeeeet. great record. must buy!
  5. on the metal side of the instrumental spectrum: electro quarterstaff - 3 guitar mindfuck attack session, they now have a bassist ill second earthless, one of the most spirited live shows out there today, so awesome lye by mistake - weird jazzy infused prog metal, whom went instrumental after a singer departure admiral browning - really upped the bar on their sound on the latest ep, check it out, called magic elixir ahleuchatistas - not really metal at all, but awfully odd, sounds very freeform. its certainly worth being exposed to harvey milk - not totally instrumental, for the most part. animals as leaders - guitarist from Reflux, Tosin Abasi, very innovative stuff i love instrumental music for the certain special quality they must have in order to pull it off, i can't quite put my finger on it myself
  6. im into this, i can paypal whomever quickly
  7. support torche! last night after their set at the 930 club they came over to a local show(with lemuria and sick fix), only to be shut down by the fire dept. as soon as they got there. we were bummed, then we all hauled ass to a house in silver spring, maryland to see a sweaty torche basement show! it ruled!
