  1. well that album cover is pretty bad, how is the actual album? i've yet to hear anything about it. may have to get engineer as well. edit: here is a preview track: http://www.metalsucks.net/2011/06/02/four-exclusive-track-debuts-from-black-market-activities-new-tunes-from-ed-gein-engineer-fit-for-an-autopsy-and-khann/ i can dig it
  2. yupppp yaalllll sum bitchezzzzz. ps i just got minez, cool little booklet. theres some surface scratching on the flexi's that look to be from a machine, cause they are in the same location on both discs. we'll see when i get home if it plays.
  3. ill add my two cents and back the crowd who isn't feeling american ghetto. a lot of it is just not all that interesting. love the first three and i like SS, but it gets played out fast.
  4. 125 start? sheesh! http://collectorsfrenzy.com/Default.aspx?ctl00%24SearchKey=botch+we+are+the+romans&SortKey=0
  5. hm maybe that's all they rehearsed for a 4 date stint? it was about 11 songs here. I'll politely disagree about the pompous asshole thing lol
  6. no encore here either brotha, i just dont think that's their bag...
  7. picked up the tape last night, seeing that i already over paid on the pre sale. but anyway, they played last night here in DC and it was pretty great. set list was fun, moral eclipse, halo of flies, big riff and the new stuff sounded excellent and added to a heavier set list. weird crowd tho. also, if you're standing right in front of the stage (or anywhere really) get the fuck off your phone! what the fuck is so important you have to text b/w every song. fuck that guy.
  8. cool sale! $50 total! just got: portugal the man - american ghetto !!! - louden up now ghostface - fishscale raekwon - cuba linx 2 hot chip - the warning
  9. went to crooked beat in dc. got there at 10am. didnt check out until 1pm. weather was pretty terrible, but it was worth it. i was the 72nd of 75 ppl who got a free grab bag and a tote bag. i was happy about this. The black angels - another nice pair the black angels - phosgene nightmare (it's coming) clouds - b chuggas titus andronicus - the airing of grievances (not rsd, but surprised to find it) kings of leon - holy roller novacaine toadies - dia de los 7" Bad brains - pay to cum 7" Opeth - the throat of winter 7" low - hatchet b/w breaker 7" (free) young-holt unlimited - soulful strut / country slicker joe 7" (free)
  10. from march 22: "Hydra Head Industries: ýCAVE IN (official) just announced three new headlining shows on the way to and from Krazy Fest this May! Word on the street is that their merch table will have something very new for all of you...."
  11. that was cool. thanks! a few weeks ago i went to a showing of the fugazi doc 'instrument' at the national gallery of art. ian and guy answered questions and stuff afterward. def a cool doc to see if you're into fugazi, fuckin hardworkin band. i see ian walkin around in my neighborhood with his kid pretty often, kinda cool.
  12. signed up for this last year, i think it is totally awesome! last year with mastodon, saint vitus, dave lombardo, and soon enough, earthless again. wino's new band and scott kelly coming up, stoked! looking at the past releases, jealous like a muhhh i didnt jump on earlier. edit: speak of the devil. just got the first two releases of the 2011 series, wino's new band and wino/scott kelly split. plus another bonus mastodon 7", i can dig it!
  13. oooo so it's the same 7", 3 dif covers? I just assumed otherwise. Not as bad.
  14. theres a lights out? really??? shit bonnaroo was pumpin house and techno till 600am each day from the dj stage that kept you awake until then. AND the beer thing, weak. didnt know that. after my experience last year, headliners are not why i am there. too many ppl, cant see shit. im watching jay z and whoever else played, everyone just looking around at each other tossin glowsticks, cant get engaged at all. cant wait for june!
  15. yes! that show is gonna rule. apparently, wont be many tix at the door if you do decide... smash and crooked beat moved digs recently; smash moved downstairs and CB down the street a block or two. both on 18th st in adams morgan, along with asylum. theres a lot of sports bars in most areas, vetnor cafe on 18th is a cool place. im sure theres a patriots bar somewhere.....
  16. Awesome, may have to put my amazon gift card to use. this band rules. the article in decibel is really good, a lot of stuff i never knew. Bassist sounds like an awesomely interesting dude. didn't shed any light on any touring, which i was hoping for, but they certainly do not like people in general.
  17. goooood looks! been on a hard thou kick lately. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC4U2TYKqpE
  18. yes, i download a lot. it only fuels my spending sprees. need more bands like THOU. @3:20 http://www.scionav.com/music/rockfest/index.html#general3,23689201
