All Empire releases? I'd say 3/4 of them are out of print without going and counting. Along with the plates being damaged I speculate that it isn't being pushed for because I think Keith doesn't like the songs. I'm probably wrong though.

Personally I'd love to own the Drive picture disc. Along with a normal copy for play though.

CYLS and Topshelf are just programmed into my noggin somehow so I buy whatever the fuck they put out. I don't buy from many non-DIY labels though so it evens out in the end pricewise haha. That and I fucking love Perfect Future, Football Etc., and Warren Franklin so it was really a no brainer. Too many people slept on Perfect Future's LP last year, it's definitely one of my top 5 emotionally destroying albums because of its content.

Got all 5. No regrets. The new Football Etc. track is streaming, makes me psyched for the LP.

He's under the impression master recording = vinyl mastering. Part of mastering for vinyl is cutting the lacquer which means if they have different tracks on different sides then they haven't both been mastered for vinyl the same way. Just reiterating what you said because yeah that can cause differences.

10"s are terrible. Always sitting in between the grooves built into my slip mat for picking up 7s easily. I honestly wish I didn't have so many 10s heh

Picture discs can't sound as good as vinyl, period. The guy you quoted also said they use the same mastering when they obviously don't because of the different tracks per side, personally I'd instantly dismiss any other opinion after that.
