Jealous of u, Kess Bummed that I missed out on each pre-order and haven't been able to track this down elsewhere I've gotten lucky with every Koz release this year so far except this one! If anyone snags an extra and is willing to sell I'd be really thankful.

Line was eh. I'd say the majority of the people near the front were Brand New fans, due to the fact that I heard Jesse Lacey's name uttered at least a hundred times. They camped out in groups since like the day before and one girl even brought her entire family with her lol, so I never stood a chance at getting Deja. But I managed to get everything else I wanted which was a nice consolation, mainly those The Hold Steady reissues and the Better Call Saul 7". I also found the Paul McCartney promo 12" and had to get my picture taken haha

So my local place got about 20 copies of Deja and there's exactly 20 people in front of me lol. I'll just hope they're not all BN fans or flippers. At least there's a bunch of other stuff I want

interestingly enough, someone on Discogs commented that as of this month he still has copies of Among The Leaves with him on tour. Extremely unlikely that he'll have any left by the time I see him in October, but just a heads up to anyone planning on seeing him anytime soon

I don't know why but for a second after just reading the OPs title I thought it was the name for a deluxe signed box set with special editions of all their albums. Damn.

My local record store is almost exactly like the one you described in the OP. The dude marks up old beat up records by ridiculous amounts. virtually unplayable ones go for 10-15 minimum while decent pressings will go for close to 100 depending on how well known the album is. He also sells cheap record cleaning stuff that you can get off Amazon for 10-20 bucks at the generous price of 59.99. I've only been in there twice when I went with friends who wanted to check it out. I think I saw a $500 Crosley last time. The owner is a delusional douche and it really sucks cause it's right down the street from me. The closest record store after that is almost an hour away
