  1. That was available if you preordered from Europe, correct? I think most people advocating for the 7" likely don't have that and are talking about a wider release.
  2. I will forgive your busted sarcasm detector. Back on topic (ha...), I only ever bought the LP for this record and considering how much I listen to that, I can't really imagine spending the amount this will cost on just another version of it. Would have definitely bought the 7" though, that's a pretty good idea. I'd bet at least some of the DVD footage is from the show in Brooklyn in May that was livestreamed.
  3. I thought the Joys of Living record was really good. Blew me away at first, actually, and I thought this band was the real deal. But then I saw them live with Social D and they just sucked. They seriously looked and acted like a band just put together by a record label. Then No Gods came out. Awful. Won't be buying this one.
  4. They had me at "silkscreened poster." Will look great next to my 438 Gaslight prints.
  5. What's up with that Misfits/Lemonheads Skulls 7"? Haven't looked, but I'm wondering who's even putting that out. At this point, I'm almost looking forward to not buying much, if anything. Expecting a lot of good preorders/shows in the next few months. Would be nice to not blow all that cash on a handful of RSD stuff.
  6. Wish I had the money. Very cool, and good luck! Always thought that cover for the Banquets test came out great.
  7. Nice one. Sorry, should I go edit and put a winking emoticon next to it or would you rather me let you ride out that smart feeling for a little while?
  8. Wait, they're releasing a 7" poster? 7 x what? Where did you hear that? I hope the theme stays on topic with people breaking up in the 50s.
  9. Yeah, about as much as the multiple pages on the same topic (posters) in the fan club thread, right? Is there? I thought it was just being discussed off-topic in the fanclub thread.
  10. No, $7.50 is stupid no matter what job you have, Sir Income Disposable. That's a six pack or a sandwich or a charitable donation. That said, I don't understand why you would ever spend that extra money on something like this. It's not going anywhere, just buy it in the store when it comes out. Unless the photocopy of lyrics only comes with the preorder? In which case I guess it's necessary to own that? Because...?
  11. Wow. That's really cool of you, but I think a little over-generous. I'm not sure I've seen anywhere that you're going to get Shed on any color for $12. Then again, I haven't really looked for it in awhile.
  12. Right? On the other hand, if there's a secret track on the next record along the lines of "Teddy, My Pal, and his Bud Light Lime" they might win me over again. Just sayin... Back on topic: Seriously, if any of you don't have We Are All beasts yet, you've been asleep. After you clear up that mistake, go over to Black Numbers and pick up An Evening of Bad Decisions. If you don't already have that, you're a jackass and there's no hope for you. But at least you'll have a really awesome record to accompany you in your state of idiocy.
  13. Still can't get over these guys breaking up. Big loss for NJ and the whole entire world. What do we have now? BANQUETS??? Ugh.
  14. Either Dave and Brian are sharing girlfriends and just about everything else, or El Jefe is in a real creative slump.
  15. Completely agree, by the way. The part about the intern actually made me LOL.
  16. Oh, awesome. So you have the time to mess around on the interent and go travelling, but meanwhile I ordered your disclaimer last Friday and haven't received A THING. I spent a ton of money on it too, and then you (I mean your intern) had the balls to charge me another crazy amount on shipping. Oh I'm sorry I live in Burkina Faso, MY BAD. And I didn't want to bring it up before, but this isn't the first time you guys have screwed me. In addition to the disclaimer I AM STILL WAITING FOR I once ordered a copy of a real estate agreement from you guys and it was obvious the thing had been read before. NOT NEW. Won't order again!!!! EDIT: Look at that and now it says it's sold out. Paypal claim imminent.
  17. Hey man, you can't expect everybody to be psyched that so far, they've paid $25 for the privilege to buy a couple expensive posters. I don't care how much you like that shitty tshirt or buying frames from Michaels, this thing is a flop until the band works it out and delivers.
  18. Expensive, but this is completely worth it assuming the sound is great. The "Wings for Wheels" on this is practically worth the price alone. One of my most listened to Bruce boots. Nice to see it get a good treatment, although I'm not sure it needs to be on clear...
  19. All joking aside, if you don't at least listen to The '59 Sound, you're doing yourself a great disservice. I mean I'm not saying you'll love them after hearing it, but don't judge them on Handwritten alone.
  20. Well if we're operating under the assumption that the collective is incapable of being civil, then I guess you've got a point. Otherwise, I'd say that the collective has the upper hand because it knows the answers and therefore, has the ability to do something other than cry about the questions or restrict them. If it so chooses. Shit man, this is getting all philosophical and whatnot.
