  1. Uh...if they allow it, then that's the way their business works. Ball is totally in their court with open return policies. Faulting the buyer is actually NOT how business works. What's an 'Mii'?
  2. I would be so embarrassed to tell anyone that I spent that much on about 200 impulse purchases.
  3. Just looked at this. If they actually have these in stock ready to ship, they probably aren't black, right? Aren't those released end of November-ish? Kind of confused about that part of the pressing. Then again, 'maveillo' also sells scotch tape and other things that you would find at a dollar store. So unless their shop is something like where the Dad bought Gizmo in Gremlins, I can't imagine anything extraordinary coming from it.
  4. Whoops! This is why you always go at least a page back before trying to be a spoilsport.
  5. Yeah, have had this happen with many things. Usually always shows up the following day. Not really sure where the mix up happens, but then again, the entire postal service is kind of a huge mystery to me 3/4 of the time. Good luck with this one, will be worth it when it comes.
  6. Wow, hilarious. And you're gaming the Man by selling a record on eBay? Do you still write anarchy punx all over your stuff too?
  7. Man, remember those fold up mail order catalogs that used to come with the CDs and LPs? I think it was something like $10 CD/$8 LP. ...And I guess most of these were in there. How times change.
  8. Neither does the one I have on purple, but this one sounds a lot better. And as far as the rest, I prefer the original packaging too. But for everybody here waiting on this one, I was just giving my opinion that I don't think it's that bad. I wasn't shit-talking your record.
  9. This is easily one of the best sounding records I own. Total quality over the first press. And I'm not much for colored vinyl, but I thought the clear sounded like a good match for this one and it really looks phenomenal. Also not too bothered by the single sleeve. Gatefold would have been a plus, but it doesn't detract from this at all. The sticker makes even less sense when you're holding the sleeve, but whatever. For one of the best albums of the 2000s, I think it's manageable.
  10. This justification makes sense from a buyer's standpoint, but that doesn't mean the band and/or label should be setting prices based on what people are getting for their records on eBay. I'm not saying $200 is TOO outrageous for this set, but it's definitely on the high side.
  11. Not saying it couldn't be red, but the "description" on Amazon.com is just copy/pasted from the MOV site. Doesn't mean what they get will be the red variant. EDIT: and hopefully the customer care reps aren't just basing their info from that description. But hey, it's been a crapshoot from the start so good luck to all.
  12. Everyone here is making the face in your sig right now.
  13. Yeah I mean the fact that it's a Brand New album just kind of makes people go apeshit for some reason. I think it's kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. People always joked about how nuts it will get when Deja or this one got repressed and so inevitably that's exactly what happens. And I didn't read all of this thread, but that price complaint is incredibly stupid. Considering the amount of dollars people on here brag about spending on total garbage and multiple variants of one record all the time, the fact that anybody would get that pissed about a double record from Europe being $30-$45 dollars is nuts.
  14. I ordered 4 on black and I'm gonna be makin dollaaaaaz!!
  15. That dark blue and green look really cool. I'm usually not into variants, but glad I was able to get those yesterday when they went up. This record seriously rips. Exceeds every expectation I had after the first one.
  16. Not offended. Your use of the word "finally" implied that you found all other versions lesser and had been holding out for it to be on pink vinyl. Thought I'd respond to that with childish sarcasm. No worries.
  17. Yeah always hated having to look at a black record when I wanted to play this. YUCK.
  18. Not sure it's total conjecture, I mean he did take to the internet and write a lengthy blog post that wasn't exactly a sunny picture of the future... Not saying it means a whole lot but if people want to express doubt on a prosperous future for this band, I think there's plenty of evidence there for them to do so (not to mention the flat reception for the record they just put out).
  19. Pretty sure that ceiling was there regardless, but I agree. I think one more album is a safe bet and then Brian is solo for awhile. And fair enough, really. No sense sticking with it if it isn't working for you anymore.
  20. I used to be a HUGE fan of this band, but I don't understand how you can still be disappointed by one of their albums. It's been pretty obvious the direction they were going to head since Sing The Sorrow came out 10 years ago and it's been a steady downward sprint since. You're delusional if you think they're going to release something that sounds anything better than the last few. And this album blows. Go listen to Crusades. That band picks up where Art Of Drowning left off.
  21. Haven't been into these guys for quite some time now, but seriously, props to them for always doing really cool stuff for their fans. These shows sound awesome.
