How was the show? I heard it was rad! Although not directed at me I'm still going to answer this question. I drove over 2 hours in the snow to get there, then back home, and it was well worth it. Probably wouldn't have made it without awd. One of my friends is a genius and forgot his wallet, so after having met them a few times I decided to ask Bill if he could help us out getting him in and he immediately hopped to it and had the owner let him in. Such awesome dudes! The show was great and I was really excited to hear some of the new songs live for the first time. I was relatively drunk and rocked out with some dudes I've never met before. Good times.

Yeah, but your stuff shows up and it's not all fucked up. They do it up right. Sean's mentioned a couple times that they charge that because they package stuff up right. I hadn't really equated their high shipping to their packing, but it kind of makes sense. Everything I've ever gotten from them has arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. Anyone who has been through getting a beaten up record would probably find the extra couple bucks worth it.

It sounds like whoever is setting up the show isn't doing a very good job. Maybe trouble securing a band. It's safe to mail it back non-Fed Ex because the tickets are essentially void at that point and people aren't going to gain by stealing them.. You should be glad they didn't want to make you pay another 12.50 to ship them back haha. Maybe you should just say "I donated $20 to a charity" be settled with it and then if a show happens it'll be a bonus. Also, for future reference, most ticket outlets allow you to transfer the name of will call tickets up until at least 24 hours before the show. You just need to call them with the name, card number and order number and you should be all set.

This dude grew up or at least lived in the town just north of mine when I was younger. I remember seeing him hanging around the mall a couple times before the MTV thing... wearing those fucking clothes and acting like a moron. At least he's really like that... kind of.

I didn't feel comfortable asking anyone directly via PM so I'm going to ask here and if anyone can help me out that would be awesome. I pre-ordered the NFAW LP and I plan on going to the release show so I'd really like to hear the record more than a couple days beforehand. I definitely understand if no one is comfortable sharing it, especially since it seems that most people who have it know the band, but I can promise that it will not go past me if you do. I was on the "Lori is a slut" (and yes, I would absolutely feel the same way had it been a man in her place) side of things for a minute but I definitely understood her actions. However, a couple months without getting laid, even in the apocalypse shouldn't be that difficult. Then there was last night's episode when she was all like "U TOLD ME HE WUZ D3AD!" and I looked at my room mate like "OH SHIT!". Seriously though, it made a lot more sense as to why she had moved on a little bit.

I know it's been said before, but I'll say it again; people are going to be really bummed in a month or two when they realize they should have ordered the NFAW LP. Real bummed. I have the AFS store ready to go in another window because I am not missing the 180 gram.

I bought a Panasonic Viera 42" plasma just about two years ago at best Buy and it has been awesome. I got it for $799 with a free Xbox Arcade that I traded at Wal Mart for a Pro because Best Buy refused to do it.

They're supposed to be adding a second set of dates. I'm hoping it will be announced some time next week.

Adam I'm pretty sure you're the one I saw mention them probably about a year ago and I can't thank you enough for sharing this band. I didn't read the comics so maybe my opinion is a little soft, but I think both episodes have been pretty awesome. The second was definitely a turn from the first in a lot of ways. My only complaint is how they went from excellent character development in the first to just shoving a ton of new under developed characters into it. I'm hoping that it will slow back down a bit and get more into those people. My overall feeling though is that it's like a 6 hour zombie movie. That's hard not to love.

The man with his son that the main character runs into mentions something (of course I can't remember what) involved with the apocalypse happening a month ago so it's been at least that long.

Real talk indeed. I've seen them 3 times and they have just been awesome every time. Super nice dudes too. I'm ridiculously excited to hear more from them. Not so hot on the temptation of buying variants though haha.

When I saw TGUK about a year and a half ago James said he was planning on putting out another Reggie record somewhere down the line and that everything he had done so far was back to being funny. Most importantly that Reggie wasn't really done. His shows have always been a blast, the best by far being The Reggie Show tour with Fluxuation and Common Denominator. My car died on the way to the last show in Cambridge so maybe I'll make it to this, or better yet, he'll do more shows.
