i find homeless people really sad. sad that they have to live that way but in some cases, sadder that they choose to live that way. i see more and more homeless people around where i work, literally on my lunch break today i walked past a guy sleeping out the front of a bank. and there's another regular who sits in the same spot everyday and talks to himself and plays an imaginary violin. sort of funny to begin with when you see it but then you realise its just really really sad. i dunno. i'm totally torn too. you wana help them out but at the same time you know if you did they'd probly just go buy smokes or booze...

It makes prefect sense. Cheap earplugs completely muffle the sound. Why pay to go to a show if it sounds like they're playing under water? I'm a firm believer in earplugs, though I don't wear them all of the time -- mostly because I forget. i do sometimes. like when i know a show is going to be super loud. or shit. i know i should more often but i hate the sound quality when wearing foam earplugs. totally ruins the show....
