    The second and final RSD Drop of 2021 is tomorrow! We still have some appointments left for those of you in the area who want to come by before Noon and we will be accepting walk up customers from Noon to 8pm tomorrow otherwise.  Book now by CLICKING HERE
     
     
    Although there are no mask mandates in this area at this time we are encouraging folks to wear them in the shop when you come in. It is not a requirement but we believe there's no harm in a little extra caution. If for some reason you don't have a mask available we have high quality 3-ply masks you can have. Once again it is not a requirement but we are encouraging it. We'll have hand sanitizer, our 2 high quality HEPA filters going and solid fresh airflow in the space the entire time so we should be in good shape as always.
     
     
    In lighter more exciting RSD news we've got our own special RSD release just for our shop coming out tomorrow! It's a live 10" from The Upside Downers! Who are those guys? Well, it's Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day, The Longshot, The Network), Jason White (Green Day, The Influents), Greg Schneider (The Influents) and Chris Dugan (The Cover-Ups)! Recorded in the before times at The Golden Bull in Oakland this is a four song cover set featuring songs from The Sweet, Big Star, The Monkees and Cheap Trick. We've made 500 hand numbered copies on Clear w/ Green & Pink splatter that are only available from us.

    Hey All,

     

    We're changing things up a bit this time out.

     

    The biggest change is that we will start selling any titles we have more than 10 of at 1pm Pacific on our website located at www.1234gorecords.com/rsdjune2021. We are getting really good fill on many of the best titles so expect to see a nice selection up then.  At 8:30pm we'll be putting everything else up on the site. If you make two orders we will combine them at shipment time and issue refunds of any excessive shipping costs. 

     

    We'll be open 8am to 8pm as we normally are on RSD events however we are by appointment only until Noon and then we'll be taking walk ups from then on out. Appointments have sold out for the first drop.  A week or so after the first drop we'll be announcing how we're going to handle the July drop.  The state of california is loosening restrictions after this first drop and we're feeling out if we want to keep appointments going forward because it seems to be a lot nicer to just know when you can come in rather than wait for hours in line. Anyway, we'll see how this first one goes! Hope to see you out there and do not be scared to come down after noon. We have great fill and will likely have most of what you're looking for!

    We are very proud to announce that we are reissuing the entire Pinhead Gunpowder catalog over the next year and pre-orders are up now at www.1234gorecords.com/pinhead

    There will be 5 phases spread across the next year with an LP, 7" and two exclusive t-shirts in each phase. Phase 1, due April 30th 2021, is the Jump Salty LP and Trundle & Spring 7"! Pinhead Gunpowder hasn't had official merch of any sort in years and these are truly special oversize prints. Jump Salty has been cut at 45rpm for the first time and it is LOUD. These are definitely the best sounding editions of either record to date.

    We are also rolling out the Pinhead Gunpowder Discography Club for those of you who want to sign up for the whole run now! If you subscribe now you will get each phase as they come out on a PGDC exclusive color. We are only going to press enough of these to fulfill subscription orders and subscriptions will only be available for purchase until March 1st 2021.     Here's the schedule for each phase

    Phase 1 (4/30/21): Jump Salty LP, Trundle and Spring 7” plus two shirts with art from each release

    Phase 2 (6/11/21): Carry The Banner LP, Fahizah 7” plus two shirts with art from each release and the stand alone “Kick Over The Traces” shirt.

    Phase 3 (9/10/21): Goodbye Ellston Avenue LP, At Your Funeral 7” (songs from two splits, split up no more!), plus two shirts with art from each release.

    Phase 4 (11/26/21): Shoot The Moon LP, 8 Chords 328 Words 7” plus two shirts with art from each release.

    Phase 5 (3/11/22): Compulsive Disclosure LP, West Side Highway 7” plus two shirts with art from each release.

    We are by appointment only this Friday and we still have appointments available if you haven't booked one yet
     
    Masks covering your nose and mouth are required and strictly enforced at all times. If you show up with a bandana, mask with a valve or gaiter mask you will be given a 3ply mask to wear over it or instead. This isn't negotiable. We also provide hand sanitizer and gloves. Our two high quality HEPA air filters will be running on high the entire day and we have great fresh air flow through our front and back doors. Between the two we have constant fresh and clean air in the shop and with your help we'll finish this last RSD event strong!
     
    Each appointment is 20 minutes long and only 6 people are allowed in the shop at a time. This is well below 25% of our capacity. 20 minutes is a lot longer than you think and most folks are in and out in about 15. Appointments later in the day do not equal quality releases being out of stock. Especially this time out. We'd normally serve 2 or 3 times as many folks as we can this time out and we often have great stock all day long. Leftovers will once again be up on our website at 8:30pm after we close at http://www.1234gorecords.com/recordstoreday

    Just a reminder. Later appointments DO NOT mean we'll be out of the good stuff. Because we're hard capped at about 20% of capacity we're only letting in the amount of people we would have in the first hour or so on a normal RSD and we have good fills that last through the day. All the info and rules are in the appointment listings. Check them out!
