  1. I know the feeling. I got mine last week and still haven't gotten to it. I'll make that a goal this week.
  2. Had to wait until today (payday) to order it, only to find out it's not on sale anymore. Damn. Guess I'll wait until the next go around.
  3. This has to be one of the few times I'm glad that I was at work at 7am on a Saturday.
  4. Odd, loaded fine for me (and was able to check out without issue).
  5. looks like this is in stock at Hot Topic. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Music/Vinyl//At+The+Drive-In+-+Relationship+Of+Command+Vinyl+LP-10016422.jsp I'm guessing this is the rumored standard edition, not the RSD release. But, I don't know for sure.
  6. I have the ones that are in my listening rotation or haven't been organized yet lean, but I try to keep the rest of them as vertical as possible. I'm usually more concerned about having them packed too tightly on the shelves.
  7. Not a problem, I'm hoping to grab a copy of it (and a few other things) once payday hits.
  8. Saw them the last time they did a West Coast tour and it was phenominal. Absolutely seeing them this time around too. In terms of box sets, I second whoever mentioned a Guided by Voices one. Either an LP set or a 7" set would be more than welcome (and absurdly huge).
  9. Ha, damn. That was harsh. Perhaps MoFi wasn't the best example to use (and I did understand that they do offer a premium pressing).
  10. It doesn't justify it, but there is also no way to know specifically if we are getting 'gouged'. Being that it wasn't repressed by the original label (which has now closed up shop), it's hard to say what costs were involved in the licensing of the album. In terms of my mindset, I'm ok with it. I don't really like paying 32$ for a 2xLP, unnecesarily marked up or otherwise. But, I would also rather have the album on my shelf for that price than for $150. I would also have to say that this isn't the worst 'markup' that I've seen. Modern Fidelity's $30 pressing of Weezer - Blue Album seems like a much better example (but once again this falls under the umbrella of not auctually knowing what licensing costs were).
  11. Init still has copies in their webstore : http://initrecords.corecommerce.com/THE-ATLAS-MOTH-WOLVHAMMER-split-7.html $8
  12. Grabbed pink (and was happy to see the Code Orange Kids 4 way split was in the e-store too, grabbed that as well).
  13. I don't quite get all the people complaing about price. Yes, 32$ for a 2xLP isn't cheap by anymeans. But, it's also 1/3rd - 1/4th the price of what a used copy of the first pressing was going for 6 months ago. Vinyl collecting isn't an inexpensive hobby.
  14. Got mine from Amazon today, transparent red vinyl. It sounds good to me.
  15. I have most of the later material, but I still want the damn thing.
  16. Deathwish does a pretty good job of sending out a newsletter email almost immediately after preorders go live.
  17. Same here, should be in my mitts on Tuesday. I'll post thoughts later that day.
  18. That's fantastic news! I've been wanting a copy of this and there was no way I could justify the $80+ dollars the RSD release was going for. Thanks for the heads up!
  19. I don't have the PFP release, but I'd be happy to buy the deftones release if you want to get rid of it.
  20. I snagged the Doomriders split on black, Sister Faith variant and TP. Was really hoping that the Lords split was cheaper, oh well. Also ended up snagging the Temp Res variant of Sister Faith. Spendy day.
  21. I paid ~$80 for Cave In - Until Your Heart Stops. I normally don't go above $40-$50 and that's usually to fill in a collection gap.
  22. There seems to be an excessive amount of DESCENDENTS merch on that site, is Milo becoming the new Crimson Ghost? That being said, I do think the coffee mug collection is pretty rad (and band appropriate).
  23. I think you've been more than reasonable about the whole thing. It comes down to the fact that the item was described as being in mint condition and should show up that way, no matter what you paid. On the plus side, PayPal sides with the buyer almost everytime. I haven't had a lot of issues of returning items, but I believe they covered the return cost also. You'll most likely be out time and some frustration. Best of luck on this.
