  1. It was free on Shinobu's bandcamp the other day, which probably means they already burned through the free download credits. Hell yeah! Glad this is getting out there.
  2. This album is so goddamn good! Listen to It: http://shinobu.bandcamp.com/album/10-thermidor Buy a Test Press: https://www.facebook.com/136477223055839/photos/a.368608253176067.74495.136477223055839/784069721629916/?type=1&theater
  3. I have a signed picture of Weird Al from when I was a kid that I got from sending in a letter.
  4. I wasn't going to buy this but now I think I want to. I can't decide which color.
  5. I got a promo teaser 10" for this this album thrown in my bag at my local record store the other day. Anyone want it? It's not really my thing. It has 4 tracks.
  6. That's another reason it took me so long to get into it. I never got it either. I caved and got it from soulseek, but I'm sure if you email TE they would send you one.
  7. I was the same way. I liked them when I saw them open for the Menzos but wasn't blown away. Maybe PUP overshadowed them? When I revisited the LP a few months later it really hit me. It made my end of the year list. Hopefully it catches you!
  8. I asked if they would price override it to the most recent clearance price and they said they couldn't. I get it, they probably aren't supposed to. And I didn't really need the album, just thought I'd pick it up if it was cheap. Also, word to the deal hunters. The Urban in my mall has been doing a promotion off and on where if you buy a gift card, you get an additional $20 gift card for free. And there is no minimum amount for the initial gift card. Tl;dr $21 gift card for $1.
  9. Went in today to buy the Titus Andronicus album because I had seen it on the shelf. It rung up at $0.10 which clearly means it couldn't be sold to me. I'm bummed because I would have paid the $5-10 for it for sure. They never even marked it as clearance....
  10. I bought the gold one, because I just grabbed it out of a bunch of 7"s and didn't really care what color. It comes with a download code but they kept them in a separate bag if you wanted them.
  11. I bought a copy at the show tonight! I love Toys That Kill but appently no one else does, people were not into them at all. Their loss. But these 7"s are definitely in hand.
  12. Ya'll need to check out Secret Pennies Records. Nathan is the nicest guy in the world and they put out a bunch of great punk / indie / whatever bands from California and Oregon. For real, some of the best stuff. Listen to Hi Ho Silver, Away!, Penn's Woods, Tough Stuff, and Friend of My Youth. Tapes and records but I think it belongs in here http://secretpenniesrecords.bandcamp.com/ http://secretpennies.bigcartel.com/
  13. I missed them in February because my friend was late to my house and parking in Los Angeles sucks. I walked into the venue the last 30 seconds of the last song.
  14. It took me too long to realize why all the promo codes were Anchorman related.
  15. They'll now be somewhat local! That is so cool! Topshelf orders will get to me so fast
  16. By the best part, I meant that it was a book I would never read I study history in school. So I am used to incredibly dry, dense as hell, fall asleep after 3 pages history books. These fun ones scare me. I also do no history reading outside of research / class material if I can help it.

  18. All of it is great, you nailed it on the LPs. Thanks again! I put the same '68 song on the mix CD I sent out. And you reminded me how great that Slow Warm Death LP is.
  19. The song is awesome, as we all knew it would be. Someone sell me their sub copy so I don't have to pre-order
