  1. The wife had some chepo sams club memory foam when we meet, I made her toss it. I made us sink to the middle, we woke up hot and sweaty wet, it was nasty swore them off.

Had this same issue with an old memory foam mattress set. I called it the taco bed. No matter what, we always ended up in the middle.

  2. I signed up for it a few years ago, same username there as here.  I was hoping the recommendations would work a little better, but oh well.  It does a good job keeping track of what I'm reading and want to read.  I don't know if I'm going to hit my goal of reading 52 books this year, but I'm pretty damn close.

I just finished Pyramids.  The 7th book in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.  It was fun like the other ones I've read.  I'd recommend his work to anyone who digs Neil Gaiman (and the novel they did together is excellent as well).

Yeah, I mainly use it to keep track of what I want to read because I have a notoriously bad memory. Ill add you... out of all my friends on there, only one really updates. Lame.

  3. I finally got a job with insurance (like an adult!) and I'm going to the dentist for the first time in quite a while.  I have a feeling it's going to take forever.  On the plus side, I'll be out of the house in the morning (which rarely happens), so I'm going to try and make the most of it afterwards.

Visited the dentist myself recently for the first time in almost 10 years. It was worse and better than I expected at the same time.  Also, congrats on the job (with benefits!)

  4. Thanks for the input guys. The plots of those four sound pretty solid, I might pick up Diary and Survivor next time (I have 10 other books to read...). I think Haunted is on my wishlist, that's pretty crazy about the fainting. I just read that apparently 67 people have fainted over it and it's only a 9 page story? That's insane.

Guts is awesome. Made me feel weak the last time I read it. Maybe I'm getting old haha, I was also thinking more about the faintings than actually reading so maybe I just psyched myself out. Invisible Monsters is probably my favorite Palahniuk novel, but I'm starting to think I'm in the minority on that one.

  5. So you've gotta download and/or try this app. It uses the vibration of your phone to move your phone on a smooth surface for perfect panorama photos. Watch the video. It's almost magical. And it's free.

if you have the 5 or 5s you just set it down and it spins on its own.

its really amazing. you can do it by hand if you dont have the 5 or 5s. its seamless.

The only thing that would suck is if you use a case, you'd have to remove it every time you wanted to take a picture. Other than that, it's really fucking cool!
