  1. Thanks for the update on this. Merch girl was extremely apologetic when I signed up for this at the show. I was just like no worries, shit happens. It'll be even better when I half forget that I bought this and get a shipping confirmation down the line.
  2. I mean, he's no 50 cent or anything. but he's alright.
  3. I love spicy foods. Usually the hotter the better, but Ghost Pepper salsa was the worst. I could only eat tiny tiny bits at a time, which sucked because it actually tasted good but it felt terrible. To answer your question: masochists
  4. Can't hate Encore. Puke and Rain Man are two of my favorite songs of his. I actually really liked that full album. Relapse is the only one I never really listened to obsessively, but I definitely don't dislike it. I'll listen to MMLP2 non stop, even if it is the worst Eminem album. Because it's fucking Eminem.
  5. meat, noun 1. the flesh of animals as used for food. 2. the edible part of anything, as a fruit or nut I guess, technically, it could be called meat. I agree that muscle is a more approriate term though.
  6. It's definitely off limits, like lard. But I don't call lard, broth or organs meat, and I didn't actively eat organs in my meat eating days anyway.
  7. I have a lot of beer drinking aquaintances from the Houston area that keep posting pictures of Krunkin Pumpkin on their instagrams and I am insanely jealous. I've never tried it, but I've tried Hopadillo, and it was fucking delicious. I assume Karbach knows what they're doing.
  8. It feels like they were shooting for another Love the Way You Lie. and they succeeded. That Monster song is totally radio worthy; immediately like-able. But I was already sick of it half way through the first listen. Like I've already heard it a thousand times.
  9. I'm actually super scared about/stoked on this. I loved Recovery, but I would have loved it a lot more if Pink and Rihanna never spewed their vomit on it.
  10. Well this title caught my attention "Rampaging Fuckers of Everything on the Crazy Shitting Planet of the Vomit Atmosphere" by Mykle Hansen
  11. Read this a few months ago. Such a good book, but it has never taken me as long to read a book as it did this one. I want to tackle IT soon since I own it now, but damn that length is intimidating.
  12. Laura and the bass player were adorable. The bass player fell into the drums while Tim was playing them at the very end of the set. Tim then proceeded to step off stage and immediately take a shot with an already-too-drunk girl in the crowd. He also talked a lot about how we should all masterbate in front of each other or something like that. He was pretty toasted. Such a good show.
  13. They played Album of the Year in Dallas. Did he play any Cursive songs? He did The Recluse solo on the piano and the band played From the Hips. The real freak out for me though was Worked Up Sexual by The Faint. Definitely was not expecting that.
  14. Just finished The Lovely Bones. Cool idea, shit execution. About to finish Tales of Ordinary Madness by Bukowski.
  15. Tim Kasher (and company) was amazing tonight. Got a solid hug from him, signed up for Adult Film and took home the Truly Freaking Out 7". I'm set.
  16. This thread is perfect. I second the The Evaptoria Report suggestion. Also, Mono. Mooncake. Maserati (AWESOME). The American Dollar How Come the Constellations Shine The Ascent of Everest I Hear Sirens The Seven Mile Journey
  17. Dude. I fucking knew it. To be fair though "going to any good shows this spring/summer?"
  18. I'm not the hugest Muse fan, but I can imagine they put on fantastic shows. Caspian will be in my city in late Nov. I might just have to check that out. On an instrumental band note, I saw Mono once. I almost cried.
  19. I see a lot of scattered "I saw so-and-so live at the blah-and-blah" across the boards, but couldn't find any general topic of discussion. I searched, so please forgive me if it exists somewhere. Talk about the shows you just went to or are about to attend. Anything and everything is fair game. Did you pick anything cool up or meet the artists? I'm seeing Tim Kasher tomorrow night and pretty excited.
  20. Class of 2005 bitches. Music released: Mae - The Everglow Anberlin - Never Take Friendship Personal Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out Actually PRESSED in 2005: nada yet. my collection is tiny as fuck.
  21. I'm assuming DP black at 9.99 like I+L, but I would LOVE to own EP or have a chance at owning Snails.
  22. https://twitter.com/theformat/status/393085131033804800 Crushing dreams one tweet at a time.
