What is making everyone's records so dirty?

I know that's right. Me, and the millions of others who have purchased vinyl records without ever washing them. We will never learn.

We stopped doing haze variants a while ago because of this.
It doesn't really cause any problems, aside from having to answer emails and board posts about it.
The way that it was explained to me from Pirates is that the finer pellets that the haze needs causes a larger amount of "vinyl dust" to be kicked up and out of the hoppers or giant sacks of vinyl and that it basically fills the area around where they are pressed and gets everywhere.
There also is (or was) a limit put on how many of the haze you can get pressed at once because of this.
Clean off the record and it will be a-ok.

Records? Check. Tapes? Check. Kepi Ghoulie? Check. Co-sign from Eccentric Pop? Check.

That's enough checks to justify the purchase, right?

You may want to reread the item listing. It's a two song 12" in a gatefold jacket, and three "prints" made from that 3D baseball card material that was popular in the 80s. For $60. That's it. I'm not familiar with "that Mondo bullshit" but if it involves selling questionable soundtrack material at grossly inflated prices because OMGSUPERRARECOLLECTABLE!!!, then this clearly is the same thing.
To the OP, do I care how you spend your money? No, it's yours. But every time someone buys something stupid like this, or a $30 repress of dollar bin fodder on RSD, it further encourages record labels to raise the prices of their products."If people will pay X for this, then we can get away with charging Y for that." Your willingness to overspend for music is ruining things for everybody else.

Started checking out the bands via their Bandcamp pages. I was already clicking "Add to Cart" by the time I got to the Wolf-Face cover of Nobunny's "I am a Girlfriend."

    Thanks for posting this.

Guys- it's not just a bag!  It's a cushion mailer!

My favorite packaging I've received was a sliced up, inverted cardboard USPS Priority letter mailer that was taped around the record jacket.  It was like a sad, flimsy Transformer that could only transform into a shittier, Frankenstein version of itself.

Like TimesTwo said, I also like buying limited variants for bands I really like.
The main reason I don't go to shops much is because the closest ones to me are about 45 minutes/1 hour away so I can't always justify making the drive there.
Usually when I buy records I try to bundle them with other records I've been wanting to save on shipping, but if I'm pre ordering its hard to do that sometimes if I want the limited variant before it sells out.

You are right. I have never sold out anything I have ever released. The concern that a release won't sell out was something I had in the 90's! Now it's just expected that I will be adding to my pile in the garage. But a chance to put out ANYTHING by the Lillingtons? Especially the album that I fell in love with first AND llistened to 1,000 times in my 1984 Blazer on a tape recorded from the LP. Only a fool would pass that shit up right? I would put out a Lillingtons 8-track, mini disc, laser disc, DAT tape or any other format if they let me! And I put the date on there so I don't have to drag the contest out forever and so the winner doesn't have to wait until the last one sells to win. It would be pretty stupid to have an open ended contest when I don't know who got what number and would have no way to contact winners etc. Some people think a Lillingtons tape is cool and so some people will buy it. I grew up on tapes. I like them despite all their faults.

As a music fan I want as many labels and bands putting out as much stuff as possible at all times. If you don't like it don't buy it, but why shit on people for putting music out there?
