i keep trying to find more about the free tattoo thing this weekend. they've also been doing free tattoos at the dockers pop-up shop in soho, but i wasn't too into the designs they posted. depending on what the deal is for this weekend, i might check it out on saturday.

thanks so much, guys! it was done by myles karr at three kings tattoo in brooklyn. his work is amazing. and he's such a nice guy and works super fast, too. a full 1/4 of my arm and it only took 2 1/2 hours. 

 

i can't wait to go back and get another one from him. already decided what i want, but can't decide where to put it...

Best month! My birthday's tomorrow, I have a shitload of pumpkin beer in my fridge, the weather is cooler (except it's 80 today?!), and I'm probably going to go apple picking one of these weekends and jump in a bunch of leaves. Oh, and there's CMJ!

I saw Iron Chic and Saves the Day last night for free and drank for five hours.

 

Now I'm hungover as shit at work. My boss sent out a mass email with a not so good typo in it that I wrote. I read it over 3 times and didn't even catch it and neither did she. Major fail!

So I met with my doctor and got my Rx for the medication I'll be on to balance out my thyroid.

I also have to get an ultrasound because she is suspecting I have kidney stones. =\

My oncologist called, no Lupus! That's such a huge weight off my shoulders.

My ENT found out about my thyroid issue and called off my tonsillectomy until my blood work comes back balanced from the new medication.  I lose my health insurance in December so things will be tough after that.

 

Thanks again to everyone who helped me with the advice and tips for handling all my new medical things.

Whoa, you've got a lot going on. That's really great you don't have lupus though. One less issue to worry about. If you don't mind me asking, why do you need to get your tonsils removed?? Hope it all works out though.

Black Gold is nice because you can get coffee and browse through records and antiques at the same time.

My two favorite bands of all time are the Red House Painters and Owen. I've seen Owen live about 11 or 12 times now. 

Cats are awesome. And so are all cat themed things. I have a girl cat named Davey (after the singer of The Promise Ring).

I also like anything related to the ocean! I've spent my last four summers whale watching from Montauk Harbor.

Anything about the paranormal (ghosts, aliens, cryptids) is super interesting to me.

I love tattoos (and have a few), but I'm mostly interested in American traditional and Russian Criminal tattoos. Not too fond of a lot of the cartoonish looking new style.

Coffee is fucking awesome and I wouldn't survive without it, but I'm a bit of a coffee snob. That's all I've got.
