I agree with you on both points... Waaaaaaayyy back in the day, I used to buy multiple copies of a record for later trading and possible selling. Now it's been more of just being satisfied with a single copy. From time to time, I will still get a second copy for a friend or my brother.

Same here. I won't believe until: a) I get a confirmation email It shows up on my doorstep c) I end being lucky and timely enough to get it at one of their shows

In the defense of some of the people that bought multiple copies here, it's rare when someone will turn around and then flip it on eBay. At least when it comes to the VC'ers. You will find that here are true collectors and fans. Now...when it comes to that guy in AP.net that claims to have bought 13 copies...you know that bitch is going to flip them... But hey...it's all about supply and demand and capitalism.

Just to give you an idea...I will assume that the average sized box holds about 80-90 double LPs...and I'm using the Minus The Bear "Planet of Ice" LP boxes I delivered to the band Monday night as a gauge.
