For LA Ink they have been trying to have more musicians and artists than Miami Ink. Last week they had Frank Nero of My Chemical Romance. Now Matt Skiba...and the aformentioned Jenna Jameson. I guess they're trying to get more street cred with the alterna-youth demographic.

I feel the same way. This release and set looks great though. But I will pass this time...

I personally don't like the half/half colors. I like sgoodcore's idea of a clear with a green splatter. Or if a single color make it a clear one. Maybe clear yellow, clear brown, and clear red or pink. Those are my votes.

Not to sound like kisss-ass...but how about an interview with Virgil?...He may not be a "celebrity" in the sense of the word, but hell, he's a rock star to us for providing all the vinyl we have all bought and are addicted to. Just a thought.

that and Miami Ink as well...and let's not forget about Inked. Those shows were trying to show the "drama" in tattoo shops. As if theirs was more than any other place...it was ridiculous. It got to the point where the portrayal and exposure of the art itself became secondary to the drama and bullshit of these people. I remember while I was getting my Koi worked on, I asked the guys at the shop I go to if they had watched the shows and was it anything like it there. They all scoffed and laughed nad said that they amp up the drama and nonsense for TV. So much for "reality" TV huh?

And people were giving me shit for having plunked down the $80 for the discbox which included the digital download as well. !!!!!! I did receive an email update last night saying that they would send out the link and code for the download in the morning UK-time. Don't feel too too bad Scott...a co-worker of mine is also in that same boat. He tried to "pre-order" the download last night and said that the site was jammed and he couldn't get in at all. When he finally got through, he couldn't find the page to pay.

I missed it...but I did catch the part when Jenna Jameson went to get inked. Man, she looks like shit! Like disgustingly like shit.

The God Machine - One Last Laugh In A Place Of Dying... This record changed my life...I know that phrase gets tossed around a lot frivolously, but this album and band's music helped me escape and deal with some tough times and things.

I hear that. If I had only thought of that then, I would have loved to have seen that douchebag's face and reaction after I said it!

I can totally agree with this. During one of the shows on Brand New's last tour, I went to the merch table to buy one of the posters and wanted to get 2...one for myself and one for my friend Kristine who was going to meet me later. So I ask the guy for two and he says to me "I don't think we can do that" with an attitude. He then turns to the other merch schmuck next to him and tells him that I want two. Schmuck #2 then says "No way dude! That would not be fair to everyone else!" with a very snappy tone...I simply told the guy that fine, just give me one. I know that for the tour they only were selling like 10 poster per show date but he said this shit to me with such a snobby attitude. I guess I wasn't "scene" or "hipster" enough to be engaged in a more polite manner.
