  1. I'd use the price of the Every Time I Die box set as a gauge for how much to save up for Norma Jean.
  2. Thanks for the info Virgil. I'll be getting that Saves The Day wax...
  3. The new record is not bad...it's a little more laid back than "Between the Heart and the Synapse" which I like better of the two.
  4. Oh trust me...I know this...I'm gonna jump on it as soon as they are up.
  5. Being that there is no Florida dates...yet again...I have already started scheming to make my way to Boston for this...all a matter if I can stay with a friend...which would work out perfectly as he lives right down the street from the Middle East...
  6. All this talk about NFG got me motivated to bust out "Nothing Gold..." and the s/t one...soooo damn good still!

  8. I want to never go outside...oh, wait a minute...I already do do that in real life...oh well...
  9. Cool deal. I will have to pick it up when available then.
  10. Where can I get the vinyl?...Especially the "limited edition cover" that will be for the first pressing.
  11. I remember when NFG was a little local band that was a side-project for Chad Gilbert when he was singing for Shai Hulud...I recall a particular warehouse show when they were opening for Hulud and Where Fear And Weapons Meet...NFG played for the first time their version of "My Heart Will Go On"...I was on the side of the stage taking pictures and had to stop cuz I started thinking to myself..."Wait...isn't...that...the...Titanic...song?!?!?!?"...The crowd was stunned but cheered and went off nonetheless...memories...
  12. Two on eBay right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/Jacob-Bannon-NO-HEROES-Converge-poster-print-SET_W0QQitemZ150163028186QQihZ005QQcategoryZ29920QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com/No-Heroes-J-Bannon-print-left-right-Converge-Deathwish_W0QQitemZ270167659616QQihZ017QQcategoryZ360QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. I'm still seriously debating getting this...I have spent so much money lately....damnit!
  14. Same here. I used to have it on a word document, but then switched over to excel. Then I joined VC and it is what it is now.
  15. I love the band and feel they deserve all the recognition they get...but I cringe at the thought of some vacuous, mainstream, teeny-bopper being all into them because they heard the music on MTV (what little they do play anyways) and on some unrealistic reality show...UGH!!!!
  16. Sounds to me like you answered your own question already. If you don't have your eye on anything outside of what you're already collecting, you may as well go forth and augment your collection. Especially since as you say you can stay out of eBay. As far as suggestions of "amazing records"...that is a loaded question and I am sure there will be plenty of suggestions from everyone. My tastes are all over the place. It would all depend on what style of music you prefer.
  17. If that doesn't get people's attention, I don't know what will.
  18. I'm not into it, but I can definitely appreciate the effort being put forth of giving boardmembers the headsup. +1!
  19. Not exactly a movie sountrack but the Saturday Morning: Cartoon's Greatest Hits. A bunch of different bands and musicians doing their take on classic cartoon theme songs. I can't help but get in a good mood every time I listen to it. And of course, Ren & Stimpy: You Eediot! I am such a dork!
  20. That's what I read in an interview with Jeff Tweedy (sp?). Gotta make money somehow I guess...fuck musical and artistic integrity! :
