Sent you a PM -
Start banging on their door and scream: "I want me some prints damnit!!!!!"
-
Yes...I glanced at them out of curiosity...
-
Huh?...I shouldn't, but I find it mildly annoying when I hear a good song by a good band be in a commercial...
-

So the test press sold for close to $200...yikes! I hope that whoever got it enjoys the hell out of it. -
I like how the Japan/Aus looks...especially since it's rectangular like that...
-
Another question...is this rush to buy the prints going to be a repeat of the Converge/AN clear debaucle from a couple of weeks ago?
-
Don't get me wrong...I dig his artistic style...it's definitely unique and has a flair to it...I'd buy some of the stuff but I'd feel like a hypocrite since I don't listen to Converge. Does that make sense?
-
Here's an ignoramus question... I have never been into Converge's music...so I would like to know what is the draw to Jake Bannon's prints/art? I am just curious since I simply do not know.

Clint Mansell from Pop Will Eat Itself...great stuff!
-
I cringe at the thought...

That was a good one. The movie was halfway decent...

Related but not wanting to high-jack the thread: http://vinylcollective.proboards79.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=etc&thread=1190150553

Unsure if there is an already-existing thread for this...but a thread on the other board inspired me to do this one. Pump Up The Volume (Henry Rollins w/ Bad Brains doing "Kick Out The Jams" is enough for me on that album! ) Singles The Crow Judgment Night (Slayer and Ice-T...need I say more?) Spawn Natural Born Killers (Trent Reznor assembling this thing was genius) Lost Highway (see above)

I actually liked that one better than American Hardcore. I was not completely familiar with the DC scene and this book was a good introduction especially with the smaller and lesser known bands.
-
Birth Ritual ...and it's indeed a good song.
-
The book is good. It's more in-depth than the film. But since in an interview style, it does get rather annoying...

New Coheed record on 180-gram double LP
jhulud replied to scottheisel's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
^^^ dude do you even KNOW coheed and cambria? they ARE the sci-fi saga concept... thats the whole point YES I DO...sheesh...no need to be all loud and accusatory about it! Damnit! (being sarcastic by the way) -
I wasn't being sarcastic...I would never have expected that type of reaction from any of my previous girlfriends... And if I were you, I'd refrain from making that comment to her about the vinyl...if you did, then surely you'd get some fireworks and drama.
-
And Black Flag. I guess in the grand scheme of the genre, those three bands are considered the forefathers of hardcore punk. DK and Misfits were left out due to some legal issues with using the name and footage and nonsense like that. Understandable.

I watched it at like 2am as I was checking out the OnDemand choices on my local cable. I saw it and immediately selected it to watch it.
