I just got back from Dead Wax records in Carrollton. I found a couple rare 7"s. He has a really good selection and decent prices for used. A+ overall. Jason

I try to keep 100 miles a week. I live close to the country and there are plenty of long roads, and under developed neighborhoods to ride through.

Try Mad World Records and Recycled Books in Denton TX, it's a little bit of a drive from Dallas but well worth it. Any Half Price Books location is worth the visit too. There are quite a few in the DFW area.

What record is this?

Don't over work it. It might damage it even further. Does the dirt and grime seem to be pressed into the vinyl, it is possible that this was a manufacturing flaw. It is possible that when the record was cooling after the press, that this grease and dirt fell on the record and was cooled into the grooves. I have seen many crazy flaws that come from the production line that get over looked at inspection. Never seen this one though. J
