Yup
I had to trade out quite a bit for the Live at Copps, OCYCs and Watch Out. Was lucky to get The Red 2Lp Crisis and Blue Dogs blood a long time back

as someone that does a lot of design work as part of his job, id like to believe that nobody could fuck these kind of things up but it happens. the artwork for the original pressing of toxicity looked fine if i recall correctly (dont own it anymore) so proper art files had to exist at some point. as for the rest of these pressings - all the other cover art is pixelated as well. that said, these records pretty much all came out in an era though when vinyl wasnt a thing most people cared about so the art may have also never been properly designed for an lp cover. hard to say what the standard was back then.
Surely CD covers were designed bigger than an actual Cd though? .....and then shrunk to CD size?
or are people that stupid?

Interesting. I loved the second album but couldn't get into the first one. I'm going to have to revisit, as it's been a couple of years since I gave it a listen and my tastes have changed since then.
yeh ill definitely have to revisit the second album

I think the epic one I was thinking of was something older than that. Where buddy told off customers, etc. But I guess he did deliver if he ended up doing subsequent ones, haha.
Burnt hard on that. I gave up after a year and got a refund.

Ah! I should've guessed Bose with that horizontal form factor. Out of curiosity, which Wharfedales were you using before?
Diamond 10.1s.....i did an A/B test and these sounded so much brighter. But value for money, if i was paying rrp id probably take the Wharfedales, i just happened to get the Bose 301s dirt cheap.

This is so good to see. Gring the Ocean is an absolute beast. Never got into the second album but happy to see them coming to vinyl

You can buy those doors as add-ons at IKEA. Great for keeping small pets out of the bottom row.
1 hour ago, docbronze said:I like the cabinets along the bottom row a lot. Is that an Ikea thing? Also, What speakers do you have?
Yep they are the Door inserts that Ikea sell as add ons for the Kallax series. They are a bit of a pain to install but once they are in they look great.
Speakers are Bose 301s - I got them at a rediculous price and prefered them to the Wharfedales that i was running. I also have it all connected through the roof and into the outdoor entertainment area to Bose Outdoors as well.....they pump

Found our loungeroom was getting really cluttered so ive done a swap with some new Kallax shelves in lieu of the old Expedits......Using the white shelves and dropping the heigh has just made the room feel heaps more open
