    We always get the worst stations at work. Whoever chooses the station just can't seem to let go of the 80s/hair metal. I get to hear garbage like Journey/The Scorpions/Guns N Roses/Bon Jovi all day. The 80s station NEVER plays New Order, and I hate it. Anytime someone changes the station to something else, it's back to the 80s within the hour.

    Nailed it. I'm going to shoehorn a few more in though and suggest Duster, Early Day Miners, and maybe Mount Eerie. I'm not sure if Mount Eerie are really classified as 'slowcore', but they're similar to others suggested and everyone should be listening to Mount Eerie anyways.

    I've got a ticket to a show tonight in a city 45 minutes south of here. Winds are picking up and are supposed to get up to 80MPH. I don't know if I want to go anymore and be driving in that weather. : /

    I was so worried after the first episode. It really picks up though. I loved the comment about Shark Week now being a Union holiday.

    They're super cool. Hopefully some make it over to the US. From what I've seen, they're being sent out to people that have purchased from the W.A.S.T.E. store

    They've been touring that way for a year or two now. I don't know if it's permanent or not. They've got the guitarist, and the vocalist has a wireless controller that plays all the backing tracks. From what I could tell, the tracks were manipulated by movement. She was waving it around like a conductor. It was a ton of fun. I had a big goofy smile on my face the whole time.

    Melt-Banana was crazy. So much noise from only two people. I wore earplugs the entire show, and my ears were still ringing like crazy afterwards.

    Last night there was a dude at the bar that was in his late 60s/early70s rocking out to Napalm Death's set while wearing a fly fishing vest. His other battle vest was probably at the dry cleaners.
