I wasn't originally going to buy one because it's questionable whether I will make it Friday night or not, but I like the Cobra Lounge...so fuck it. it's only $30 It did, however, take me like 10 attempts to get a ticket. Kept saying all tickets were in carts.

No Sunday pass? 3-day passes are sold out but I think you can still pick up a Sunday only ticket in addition to your 2-day pass.

!!!! I think I may have noticed a goof that could help score Lillingtons tickets. (or very possibly screw some people on getting tickets) Riotfest said tickets were going on sale at 11 am central. The ticketing site says they are going on sale at 10am. Yeah...because waiting in line with 5,000 other 3 day pass holders to get into a 300 capacity venue is a blast.

right...I already took Friday off in order to be ready to buy at 11am. Even then, I'm sure my chances are not 100% of getting tickets for myself and my fellow riot-pals.

Chicago After shows just got announced.... Highlights for me are RFTC at the Double Door and Lillingtons at the Beat Kitchen Sunday. Lillingtons tickets are going to be hard to get if you do not get them immediately at release (Friday at 11 am central)

They get decent shows but the layout sort of blows and it's too expensive to drink there. If you have an evening available, you should check out whatever is happening at the Frequency or the High Noon Saloon. records - There's B side records on State street. beers - Capital Amber, Ale Asylum Hoppalicious, and New Glarus Spotted cow are all popular and on tap at most bars. vegetables - those green things? try Himal Chuli on State Street or take a hike down to Lao Laan-Xang, the Weary Traveler on Willie street.

Having no idea what the inspiration is behind this line of questioning...I am just going to throw this out there. in case anybody is still looking for hotel in Chicago... I had so-so luck with Priceline. booked a room at the W Chicago Lakeshore with a bid of $130. (I bid $5 incriments from $110 to $130) Well within my budget and location is pretty good. It's a straight shot by bus to the park.

Even if, for some reason, I did not mind that Gary Glitter fondles 10 year olds, I still wouldn't want to wait around for an hour and half while he does it.
